Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The television dimly lit the living room, where the voices of the new episode of Boruto echoed. Two brothers, Akira and Renji, sat in front of the screen, their expressions tense, as if what they were watching wasn't just an anime, but a personal battle.

"I told you, Boruto is the true and only ninja stronger than anyone who has ever lived," Akira said with a smug smile, raising his voice just to provoke."Stronger? Hah." Renji scoffed with disdain. "Jura is far more powerful. He's the one who will truly make a difference in this world."

What had started as a simple exchange of opinions quickly turned into a heated argument. Every word was a direct blow to the other's pride, until words alone were no longer enough.

Akira shot to his feet, tossing a cushion to the ground."You always act like you know everything!" he roared, stepping toward his brother.Renji clenched his fists, rage trembling inside him, ready to explode."And you always belittle what you don't understand…"

Within seconds, they lunged at each other. Punches, shoves, and shouts filled the room. The anger they had bottled up for years erupted in that absurd fight, where Boruto and Jura no longer mattered—only which of the two was stronger.

In the midst of the struggle, Renji shoved Akira toward the dining table. A glass tumbled to the floor, shattering into countless pieces. In the reflection of the broken shards, their faces appeared twisted by hatred.

"Accept it! You'll always be weaker than me!" Akira shouted, trying to overpower him."I'd rather die than lose to you!" Renji spat, his eyes burning with fury.

And as if fate itself had heard those words, the accident happened. Both tripped on the glass shards and fell violently. A deep cut tore across Renji's neck, while Akira received a fatal wound to his abdomen.

Silence engulfed the room, broken only by the steady drip of blood onto the floor. Their last memory was each other's face—filled with hatred… and, at the same time, fear.

Suddenly, there was no more pain. No room. No television. No shouting.Only an endless void, a space without color, without time, where even gravity seemed nonexistent.

Akira slowly opened his eyes, dazed. He floated in nothingness. In front of him was Renji, wearing the same look of disbelief."You… too?" he murmured, his voice no longer hateful but incredulous.

Before they could speak further, a figure manifested between them. A being of light radiating calm and power, its humanoid shape barely defined, as if made of pure energy. Its voice resonated directly in their minds, deep, firm, and impossible to ignore.

"You two… why do you hate each other so much? I truly cannot understand, young ones," it said with a soft chuckle, tinged with reproach. "But in truth, that does not matter. What's important is for you to ask yourselves why you are in a place like this."

The brothers remained silent.

"This is commonly known as the Void," the being continued. "It is the place where human souls come before being reincarnated into different universes."

Renji's eyes widened in disbelief."Wait… did you just say we can reincarnate into another universe? Could it be… the world of Boruto?"

"Yes, that is one possibility," the being replied calmly. "But only if you both agree."

Renji glanced at Akira, and after a brief pause, Akira nodded.

"Good," said the being of light. "Since you've agreed, that will count as one of your wishes. But you each still have two more… choose wisely."

Akira immediately stepped forward, not thinking twice."My first wish is to be reborn as the son of Naruto Uzumaki!"

The being observed him silently before nodding."An interesting choice… granted. And you, Renji?"

The younger brother thought for a few seconds before answering."Since he chose that, then I wish to be reborn as the son of Sasuke Uchiha. But I don't want Sakura to be my mother. Make Karin Uzumaki my mother instead."

"That's cheating!" Akira shouted furiously. "That's way more than just one wish!"

The being of light smiled."I commend you, boy. You're clever. I never placed conditions on the wishes."

Akira stood speechless, fuming with anger, while Renji smirked with quiet satisfaction.

"You both still have one wish left," the being reminded them. "Think carefully."

Akira didn't hesitate for a moment."I wish to unlock the Tenseigan!"

He turned to his brother arrogantly, certain he had chosen the greater gift.

The being turned toward Renji."And you?"

Renji lowered his gaze, deep in thought, before answering calmly."I wish to have the ocular powers of Obito and Madara… their Mangekyō Sharingan, and also Madara's Rinnegan."

The being burst out laughing."That is a complicated wish… you're indirectly asking me to help you awaken the Rinnegan. But very well, I like you, boy. I'll grant it. However, you must understand this: you will not be born with the Tenseigan or the Rinnegan already awakened. You will have to train and earn that power yourselves."

"That's not fair!" Akira shouted in fury, just as everything around them began to fade.

The light of the being engulfed them completely, its voice echoing deep within their souls.

"As a final gift, I will bestow upon you a destiny far greater than you imagine. From this moment on, you shall be the new reincarnations of Indra and Ashura. Carry that power… and that burden… into your new world."

The last thing they felt was the Void pulling them away, dragging them into a new existence—one where their rivalry would only grow stronger.
