Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Can being recorded in Takaki's diary make me stronger?

The word 'death' made Hinata realize the seriousness of the situation.

Since the diary could easily reward her with Chakra, it could probably kill her just as easily.

Hinata decided to control her mouth.

Clearly, the advantage the diary brought her was the opportunity to become stronger, and the drawback was having to keep this secret.

This drawback was nothing; even something like liking a person, she could always hide it in her heart and not say it, so keeping the diary's secret now was nothing.

"I must hide this diary in a safe place where no one can find it; this is my own secret."

Hinata didn't have time to research if the diary had other functions; the most urgent task was to keep this secret.

Where to hide the diary?

Once she realized that this secret, if discovered, would lead to her death, Hinata felt that the diary was like a ticking time bomb, unsafe no matter where it was hidden.

Immediately after, a line of text appeared on the diary:

[Warm reminder: The diary can appear or disappear with your consciousness]

"Appear or disappear with my consciousness, what does that mean?"

Just as Hinata was wondering, her mind moved, and the diary in her hand suddenly disappeared.

Hinata shivered in surprise.

"Huh, where did it go? It was just in my hand."

The next second, the diary reappeared in her hand.

Disappearing, appearing, disappearing, appearing, disappearing, appearing…

After several repetitions, Hinata finally realized something.

She seemed to have mastered a Space-Time Ninjutsu that only affected the diary.

In other words, she didn't need to worry about the diary's secret being discovered.

Hinata breathed a sigh of relief.

Having resolved the crisis the diary brought her, Hinata subconsciously began to anticipate the rewards it would bring.

"The diary's reward mechanism should be determined by Takasaki's diary content."

"It looks like Takasaki also has a diary, and what he writes will be synchronized to my diary."

"And the more times Takasaki mentions my name in his diary, the more rewards I will receive."

How should she face Takasaki from now on?

She was inherently unable to keep secrets and was naturally shy, so she found it quite difficult.

"Just pretend this never happened, and face Takasaki with a normal heart." Hinata said, taking several deep breaths in front of the mirror after her shower, trying to comfort herself.

She still had to spar with Neji later.

Neji's father died because of her; even though she had apologized to Neji many times, and Neji had never blamed her, she could still feel Neji's great hostility towards her.

Especially as a member of the main family, her strength was far from matching Neji of the branch family, so every time she lost in a spar, Neji's contemptuous gaze always made her feel ashamed.

If she were still distracted during the spar later, Neji would blame her even more.

But she couldn't help but constantly think of Takasaki, with a hint of anticipation in her heart: would Takasaki's next diary entry mention her name again?

"Stop daydreaming!"

Hinata comforted herself in the mirror.

In the full-length mirror, she had fair skin and a slender, developing figure that hinted at future grandeur.

A blush on her cheeks indicated that her heart was not calm.

At this moment.

Takasaki didn't know that his diary was being publicly executed.

The inappropriate content in the diary was just something he wrote casually.

Who writes a diary if they're a serious person? Who writes their true feelings in a diary?

Since he couldn't have those beautiful female ninjas of the Ninja World in reality, couldn't he be a bit more unrestrained in his diary and enjoy himself?

Anyway, the diary he wrote wasn't an essay for a Chinese test; no one would grade it, and no one could see it.

It was just to humor the system.

Of course, he cared more about the rewards he got from writing the diary.

The Three Body Technique was just the reward for the first diary entry; there would definitely be more later.

Takasaki wasn't in a hurry to continue writing.

Firstly, because too much is not good; it was most important to thoroughly master the Ninjutsu he had obtained.

Secondly, even if he wanted to write a diary, he had to unlock the writing permission for the next entry first.

That meant raising the Clone Technique to level 3.

So, he continued to grind for proficiency.

Takasaki didn't want to stop for a moment; after using up his Chakra, he would wait for it to recover, then grind Ninjutsu.

His Chakra amount recovered to 6 points.

"Clone Technique!"

A puff of smoke flashed, and Takasaki created a clone.

His Chakra amount dropped to 0 points, and the Clone Technique's proficiency reached 2/100.

It was truly timely positive feedback.

No pain, no gain; once his Chakra recovered, he would continue to grind!

While Takasaki was diligently grinding for proficiency, in Konoha Village, Hinata wasn't the only girl secretly cursing Takasaki.

The girl closest to Takasaki was Ino Yamanaka, who was arranging potted plants in her family's flower shop.

Ino, who inherited her father's light blonde hair and green eyes, had her hair tied in a high ponytail, wore a sleeveless jacket, and was watering her family's flowers.

Suddenly, she saw a book with a gold-threaded cover appear on the shelf, on which was written: [Takasaki's diary (Ino Yamanaka)]

"Did Takasaki come to my flower shop? How could he be so careless as to leave his diary? And why is my name written on it?"

"Let's see what Takasaki wrote in his diary, hehe."

Ino giggled, curiously opening the diary, and the content made her stunned for a moment.

The smile on her face gradually froze.

Ten seconds later, she burst out cursing: "What the hell! That's so lewd! Takasaki looks like a proper gentleman, but deep down, he's full of dirty thoughts! What does it mean, 'when we're together later, let me sit on top and move myself'? That must be some bad action! It's unbearably shameless!"

Ino hadn't even been in a relationship yet and had innocent and beautiful fantasies about love.

In the diary, Takasaki, however, seemed to take it for granted that she would be his.

What the hell! Even if you're in a relationship, there's a process, isn't there? How can you just claim someone as yours right away?

This feeling of being offended, how could Ino not be furious?

She even felt an urge to go to Takasaki's house right now and beat him up.

"No, I can't wait until tomorrow, Takasaki is too infuriating!"

Ino clenched her fists, looking enraged, and muttered: "After dinner, I'm going to Takasaki's house with this diary to confront him, and at least punch him once!"

The next second.

Two lines of text appeared on the diary: [Takasaki mentioned your name for the first time in his diary, Reward: Chakra amount increased by 10%]

[Warm reminder: The more times Takasaki mentions your name in his diary, the more rewards you will receive.]

"Eh?"

Ino was a bit confused.

Immediately after, a warm current washed over Ino's body, and her fatigue vanished.

Her Chakra and stamina were incredibly full at this moment.

"What's going on? My Chakra amount has increased… This feeling is like having trained Ninjutsu diligently for a month."

Ino was in a daze for a few seconds, then calmed down after realizing what happened, and looked at the diary again, her eyes now filled with shock: "This diary seems to be able to make me stronger!"

This shameless guy, who made her want to beat him up, could actually help her get stronger?

The same thing also happened at Sakura Haruno's house, just two streets away from Ino's flower shop.

Sakura Haruno, with a red ribbon headband, pink hair revealing her wide forehead, and wearing a red short-sleeved robe, was currently in her room, sitting on her bed, opening the diary that had inexplicably appeared in her room.

She had a sullen expression on her face, but her inner second personality was already furious: "What does 'lickspittle' mean? It sounds like a bad word!"

"That pervert Takasaki actually wants to take so many girls home as wives; he's even more shameless than Naruto! Sasuke is a million times better than him!"

"And why does he like so many girls, but not me? This really makes it hard not to get angry, even though I wouldn't like him either."

After a burst of venting, Sakura Haruno was about to casually throw the diary on the floor.

Two more lines of text appeared on the diary:

[Takasaki mentioned your name for the first time in his diary, Reward: Chakra amount increased by 10%]

[Warm reminder: The more times Takasaki mentions your name in his diary, the more rewards you will receive.]

A warm current appeared out of nowhere within Sakura Haruno's body, washing over her limbs.

Her energy and stamina became exceptionally abundant at this moment.

Most importantly, Sakura Haruno clearly felt her Chakra amount increase.

She seemed to immediately connect it to something, the anger on her face disappeared, followed by an unbelievable shock.

"Could it be… Takasaki can indirectly make me stronger by writing in his diary?"

Sakura Haruno's fair and slender fingers caressed the diary a few times, and her heart rate drastically quickened.
