Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Awakening in the Chaos

The Chaos World was a land ruled by strength. Powerful cultivators shaped mountains, rivers, and entire kingdoms with a single breath. Sects competed like wolves, swallowing the weak and bowing only to those stronger than themselves.

In the Central Barrens, a region neither weak nor supreme, sects of all levels fought for survival. There were third-rated sects barely holding on, second-rated sects like rising tigers, first-rated sects that ruled entire provinces, and beyond them, super sects whose names shook the entire world.

Among them stood Sect, a respected second-rated sect. Its disciples were divided by strength: outer court disciples, inner court disciples, core disciples, and finally personal disciples of the elders or sect leader. Above all stood the hierarchy of elders, grand elders, and the sect master, whose power made mountains tremble.

In the outer court lived a boy named Feng Tian. He wasn't a genius, but he wasn't hopeless either. In fifteen years of hard work, he had reached Qi Cultivation, Level 5. For someone his age, it was decent, but not enough to stand out in a world where talent meant everything.

Feng Tian spent his days training quietly, avoiding trouble. But trouble has a way of finding even the quiet ones.

One afternoon, during practice on the training grounds, Feng Tian accidentally embarrassed Wang Jian, the second-strongest disciple in the outer court. Laughter from nearby disciples cut deep into Wang Jian's pride. His face twisted with anger, and from that moment Feng Tian unknowingly earned a deadly enemy.

That night, under the pale moonlight, Feng Tian sat cross-legged in his courtyard, circulating his qi as usual. His breathing was calm, his focus steady—until a faint sound reached his ears. Too soft to be the wind. Too sharp to be natural.

His eyes snapped open.

"Someone's here!"

But the realization came too late. A shadow moved, a blade flashed, and killing intent filled the air. Wang Jian struck with ruthless precision, aiming straight for Feng Tian's heart.

Pain exploded in his chest. His vision blurred. The world went dark.

And then—light.

Not moonlight, but a strange, blinding light.

When Feng Tian opened his eyes, he was no longer lying in his blood-soaked courtyard. His mind buzzed with confusion. Wasn't I… dead?

Suddenly, memories poured into his brain like a flood. He wasn't just Feng Tian of Planet Blue anymore—he was now fully part of this Chaos World. The pain in his chest was gone, replaced by a strange new strength. His body felt different… stronger.

Breathing heavily, he sat down again to cultivate. The qi inside his body flowed faster and purer than before. He followed his instincts, guiding the energy through his meridians.

One hour passed.

Then—boom!

His dantian trembled. A surge of power filled his body. He had broken through to Qi Cultivation, Level 6—something he'd been stuck on for months, now achieved in a single hour!

Feng Tian opened his eyes. A cold glint flashed in them.

"Wang Jian… you should have made sure I stayed dead."
