The morning light shone through the window and shone down on the face of a young man lying on the bed with his face facing upwards.
*sigh*
He let out another sigh as he stared up blankly at the white ceiling.
Afterwards he got up and went into bathroom and a few moments later the lowsound of water dripping sounded from the door.
It wasn't until a few minutes later that the sound stopped and he walked out of the bathroom with only a towel covering him.
He paused for a moment when he came to face his reflection on the large mirror attached to the wall.
The reflection showed a young man who seemed to be around 18-19 years of age,his tanned skin was outlined by perfectly shaped muscles throughout his body. He touched his devilishly handsome face as a slight smile graced it revealing his pearly white teeth .
"A perfect face and body ..."he chuckled yet his voice was filled with bitterness "but at this point do theyreally matter "
His silver eyes seemed to have a flash of sadness but he just shook his head before he got dressed.
All black sportswear with a hoodie that covered his silver-black hair. He grabbed a crossbow closeby and opened the main door.

As he went out the door of this small cottage he was greeted with the familiar sight of large trees all around him,and the refreshing scent of morning dew assaulted his nose.
He immediately set out after loading his crossbow with a bolt.As he trudged down the slightly muddy path he carefully scanned his surroundings with his sharp eyes while his ears seemed to perk up as he he filtered through different sounds .It was only after a few hours he heard one he was looking for that he changed direction and headed towards the sound's source.
His feet made little to no sound as he slowly knelt down and peeked through a few bushes in front of him. And there it was the source of those rustling sounds ,not far from him was a lone deer grazing on the grass.
It was a healthy brown color just like a normal deer but unlike normal deer this was a bit more on the bulky side and it's eyes were red.
(That will probably be enough to last me for a while)The young man thought.
He first bit his thumb drawing a bit of blood which he dripped on his loaded bolt before taking aim,and pulling the trigger.
*SWOOSH* *Thuck*
The bolt flew through the air before accurately striking the deer's neck .It's skin seemed to be tougher than normal so only a bit of flesh was pierced through which alerted and it immediately took off.
However it hadn't even moved more than a few metres that it's eyes rolled backwards and it collapsed on the floor with it's body constantly twitching.
The young walked out of the bush and approached the animal. As he did his nails extended from his while darkening with a metallic glint. Without any hesitation he slashed it through the deer's neck which immediately caused a fountain of hot blood to spill from the gaping wound,with that the light in the creature's went dim.
He held it by the legs and placed it on his back and made his way back from the direction he came from.

When he got back on the muddy road he suddenly stopped and looked around pausing for a few seconds on specific locations before continuing on his his way .
When he got back to the cottage he immediately hung up his catch to a nearby tree. He grabbed a nearby black blade stuck to a stump and used it to skin and cut the meat before lighting a small bonfire.
He cleaned the meat and hung up most of it to dry while he what's left into a into a pot added water and a mix of different spices and hung it up over the fire .
He went into the house and came out a while later with a wooden stool and and a few utensils. He checked the stew and noting it was ready he dished himself some into a a bowl and sat down on the shaded table next to his house and started enjoying his meal.
(Not bad, if I do say so myself..)He thought as he looked towards a the forestry ahead where a group of individuals dressed in what looked like midevial armour started to appear (but maybe I should look for a few more herbs to enhance the flavor)
"Well well well look what we've found here " One of the individuals a tall guy carrying a large warhammer across his shoulders "man you took forever to find ,and here you are pretty much chilling without a care in the world "
"I have to agree with you on this one Phil, place's so peaceful one might think he on vacation " Nodded a guy carrying a tower shield with scaled patterns over it " I myself actually almost thought you weren't the same guy were supposed to be looking for "
"That is enough you two please keep in mind what you were informed during the briefing " A blonde carrying a claymore on his back said in irritation before mumbling "though you're both right,it's like this guy's living in a completely different world "
"*ahem* forgive my teammates rude behavior they're-"the leading girl with a sword strapped to her waist wanted to continue but she was abruptly cut off by the young man.
"Say ,you guys hungry?"He asked
""Huh??!"" The group of five including another girl who'd been quiet looked confused and surprised at his question.
"No we are actually full but thank you anyway" their leader said as she quickly recovered her composure.
"That's too bad I actually saved some for you guys "he continued while shaking his head "I even took out a few extra plates for you guys. Anyway mind telling me who you guys are? "
"Allow me to do the introductions. My name is Alice and they're my colleagues the lady next to me is Woo Yeon Hee,the bulky guy is Phillip while the one carrying the shield is Matthew as for the blonde...well I'm assuming you already know each other." The leader now Alice introduced.
"Heh you're right introductions aren't necessary for him after all traitorous bastards like him aren't that easy to forget " The young man said while staring at the blonde "am I right Joshua?"
The blonde guy just sighed bitterly "It's good to see you too Theo "
"Can't say the same about you .And don't ever don't ever call me by that name ,cause you've long lost the right to do so" The young man called Theo said before gulping down the rest of his meal "Now would you care to give an explanation as to why a group of wannabe heroes would ruin my day by coming here?"
"A new organization designated to borrowing the gifts of awakened to protect mankind from the increasing dangers around them"Alice said with determination in her voice "and with someone of your caliber assisting us it would much be appreciated ."
"So in simple terms you're here to recruit me into your little band of edgy guys? Naah I think I'll stick to my slice of life "Theo chuckled at that "even if a had any interest in joining, which by the way is close to impossible,unlike a certain someone I would never take orders from the very same old pigs responsible for the current situation the world is facing today"
"Are you sure you're not gonna think it through a bit " Phillip asked with a grin practically plastered on his face "after all were asking you so nicely "
"If you were really here to ask 'nicely' as you put it you wouldn't have brought a whole army with you , not to mention by bringing along that idiot things just got a whole lot complicated " Theo returned the same brutish grin "Hey Joshua I seem to have forgotten , could you refresh my memories of what were the exact words I said last time you saw me? "
"*sigh* If I remember correctly it was 'Although I want to rip you to shreds you were her brother so I'm not gonna kill you this time' " Joshua added with a sigh "and then before you left you said 'Next time you appear in front of me I will only see you as an enemy '"
" Good now before we start going for each other's throats do any of you have any last words" Theo said as he got up . His lazy demeanor fading ever so slowly faded replaced by a heavy predatory presence that seemed to make the very air around them tremble.
" Now that'swhat I'm talking about, all this yapping was starting to get annoying. Why do all that when we could settle this like real men" Laughed Matthew as he got in front of everyone in a battle stance
"Can't we resolve this peacefully?"Alice asked with a frown
*FWOOSH FWOOSH FWOOSH *
They were caught off guard as armour piercing rounds flew past them and struck Theo head on.
*BooBooboooom*
Continuous explosions kept sounding for a few seconds kicking up clouds of dust and smoke in the air....
