"0.0"
Hearing the voice in his head, Rakuya froze.
Wait… a newbie gift pack already?
All he did was curse a little, and now he had a cheat system plus a starter pack?
What the hell? If swearing could unlock gift packs and broken abilities, then wouldn't becoming King of the Pirates be as easy as cursing his way to the top?
Rakuya's body trembled with excitement at the thought.
"System, if I keep cursing, will you give me more gift packs?"
Ding![System Response: Each host may only receive the Beginner Gift Pack once. To grow stronger, host must acquire mysterious energy, exchange it for points, and then redeem abilities. No cheating allowed.]
"…Seriously?"
He thought he could just talk his way to the top. Turns out reality had smacked him right back down. Looks like he still had to work for it.
"Fine. Let's see what's in this gift pack first."
As he willed it, a translucent screen appeared before his eyes. Sure enough, the so-called Beginner Gift Pack was sitting there, glowing faintly.
"Open it!"
Ding![System Reward: 1,000 Points Obtained]
"…That's it?"
Rakuya's mouth twitched. Other transmigrators got legendary weapons or divine bloodlines in their newbie packs. Him? A measly thousand points? What the hell was that supposed to buy maybe a bowl of noodles?
For the first time, he felt his system might be a cheapskate.
Still, this was the Max-Level System. As the name implied, it could raise anything elemental or not to its peak. Just like in a game: maxed-out characters, maxed-out weapons, maxed-out defenses. At that point, no one could kill you, no matter how hard they tried.
That was the terrifying strength of this system.
"If I raise fire to max, does that mean I could take down Akainu?" Rakuya muttered, eyes gleaming.
Ding![System Detection: Ability Eligible for Max Level. Upgrade now?]
"Upgrade!"
He didn't even ask what it was. He just said yes.
Ding![System Notification: Gravity has been raised to Max Level]
BOOM!
The ground around him exploded, a hundred-meter radius collapsing in an instant. The island cracked like a spiderweb as everything was dragged toward him.
Before he realized it, Rakuya had sunk fifty meters into the earth.
"What the…?"
Looking around from within the pit, he realized his feet kept pulling downward, as if the land itself was being sucked toward him. But it wasn't the earth dragging him down it was his own gravity, now maxed out, pulling the world toward him.
And strangely enough, he felt no pain at all.
Ding![System Explanation: Host has successfully maxed Gravity. Gravitational pull toward the world has greatly intensified.]
"I… holy crap…"
Even Rakuya, usually quick-witted, couldn't stop himself from cursing.
"Wait, if this keeps going, won't I sink all the way to the planet's core?!"
Ding![System Response: Negative. Host has simply not adapted yet. Gravity can now be freely controlled and adjusted at will. With practice, host may release or suppress it as desired.]
The calm, mechanical explanation was clear.
Closing his eyes, Rakuya sat cross-legged, focusing on the gravitational currents around him. Just like a newborn learning to walk, he needed practice before mastering it.
By noon, the sun blazed overhead.
Finally, a filthy young man with messy hair climbed out of the crater, breathing in the fresh air. For the first time since he had arrived in this world, Rakuya felt safe.
Because now, he had power.
BOOM!
Suddenly, the sea roared as a massive Sea King broke through the waves, its colossal body towering like a mountain.
"Almighty Pull!"
Rakuya grinned, raised his hand like a claw, and yanked.
The Sea King's eyes bulged in terror as its enormous body shot through the air like a cannonball, slamming onto the island.
CRASH!
The island shook violently. The beast writhed, twisting its massive body as it tried desperately to return to the sea. But on land, it was helpless.
"Heh. Looks like I've got lunch."
Rakuya's smile was bright and harmless, but his words carried nothing but menace.
This was the move he had named after maxing out his gravity: Almighty Pull.
And compared to the "Almighty Pull" of Pain from Naruto, his was infinitely stronger.
He could adjust its strength however he wished. If he wanted, he could drag the moon out of the sky without breaking a sweat. Because his gravity… was max-level.
Pulling up this Sea King had taken only one percent of his power. If he faced someone like Akainu, he would crank it up ten thousand times and crush him outright.
No cooldown. No cost. No limits.
This was the strength of the Max-Level System.
At this moment, Rakuya had already set foot on the peak of the One Piece world.
Because while power wasn't everything, his system could do anything.
And the best part? The system listened only to him.
But how would the world react when an unknown youth could drag a Sea King ashore with one hand?
