Matheo's POV
My phone buzzed in the middle of my conference meeting with the board. Their faces were grave when they noticed that someone dared to text my phone during a meeting. I caught a glimpse of the content in the message, Miguel, my assistant, seemed to have seen it to as he cleared his throat. I looked at the person speaking, he had stopped talking. I picked up the phone and I stood up from where I was seated, I took a quick glance around the room, and I walked out of the room saying " Meeting postponed " The members in the room gave a sigh of relief when I left .. I glanced at Miguel. "Boss the hospital is a ten minute drive from here." I frowned " I could have rounded up the meeting don't you think so?" Miguel nodded. "Things happen for a reason."
Fifteen minutes later
"Boss, we have arrived" I glanced up from my phone and scanned my surroundings. "Move to the entrance when I leave." I instructed Miguel as I got out of the car. I dialed my younger brother's number. "Yes, Matheo" he answered in a sleepy voice. "Are you still asleep by two pm?" I asked. "Is it two already?" "No its not, that's why I told you it was the other time" I was by the private elevator already "Haha so funny brother" " And what were you doing yesterday that made you so drained that you have to sleep till noon?" "Father sent me to Greece" "An overnight mission?" "You know it." "Was it successful?" "Do i ever fail a task assigned by father?" "So cocky of you" "Why did you call me?" "Can't i call you to talk hear your majestic voice?'' "like I'd believe that" " I wasn't paying attention to what father had to say yesterday concerning the lady" "You mean your wife?" "Yeah...her"
I got into the elevator "Call her your wife Matheo, then I will provide information concerning her" " What do you think you're doing?" "Matheo you better get your brain together and know you're gonna have a wife" "Since when did you become father?" "Just say it Matheo . Call her your wife" "Mark.... which room and floor did father say my wife is ?" "She's in the VIP room five and she's on the twenty ninth floor" "Thank you" "What did you say?" "Don't make me say that again" "Ice cold mafia heir.....Matheo Acardi thanks his brother.... Mark Acardi; a poor and kind soul after helping him locate his wife. best headline title for the newsflash tomorrow don't you think?" "You dare not" I tapped in the floor number and looked around the elevator. It was decent enough for the hospital "You there yet?" the elevator got me to the floor. I walked to the fifth VIP room and gave it a slight knock then i pushed the door open.
Brianna's POV
I looked in the direction of the door and I saw a man in all black walk in.... He was dashing. his face, his body everything looked sculpted by the gods themselves. It was like he was created to be part of them. Just then, I heard him say "Are you done romancing my wife yet?" My body turned stiff when I heard his voice it was the voice of one who exudes aura. I silently begged Yang to stay put for now.... I didn't know he would come this early and by himself.
Matheo's POV
As I walked in...my eyes locked with the pretty lady hugging the man in front of her. Pretty is an understatement. She looked perfect, endowed in the right places and all that. I was a bit upset that some other man was holding my woman. So out of intense jealousy I directed a question at the man "Are you done romancing my wife yet?" he was about to turn but she steadily held him and used him to cover her. 'This wife of mine is funny. I've seen her already why is she hiding?' I decided to embarrass her a bit "Are you hiding from your husband Mrs Acardi?" I asked with my hands crossed leaning slightly on the door.
Brianna's POV
"Thank you Yang, I will see you soon" Yang gave me a final glance and had a little stare competition on his way out with my husband. I looked outside immediately, trying to avoid looking at him. His voice intruded my thoughts "You can explain what I just saw in the car on our way home" He stood gesturing for me to walk out first. I began to think he wasn't so bad after all.
