I thought you said you were taking me to the precinct in the city?" I voiced out, my eyebrows knitted, when Detective Jackson took another turn, entering somewhere which looked like a driveway into someone's private possession.
"No," Jacobs, the one in the police uniform muttered, his voice dark. "That is not where we are going."
A cold shudder coursed through me. "Then, where are we going?" I dared ask.
Garrett twisted in his seat, turning around to face me. "That shouldn't be your concern."
"Tell me where you are taking me, right now!" I snarled, smashing my fist into my seat.
A cold smirk stretched across his face and he let out a dark chuckle. "Shouldn't you be a little nicer to the authorities?"
Another shudder surged down my spine. I glanced furtively outside the window at both sides, and all I could see was dense forests.
"Mrs Giacomo, I suggest you calm down, and keep your voice low," Castilo cooed, as if my demands were unreasonable.
