Galaxia, the wonder of the universe, is an artificial planet built forty-five years ago as the home ground of the Izigans. It has been titled Paradise and is known for its advanced buildings and style.
While Earth is still healing and looks like it's stuck in 2024, Galaxia is already living the future as it should be in the year 2120.
Its size is almost the same as the moon, and in some parts even larger. This engineering feat is considered a miracle of wonder, taking thirty years to fully construct. Built by the Izigans with some assistance from humans, the first artificial planet was made.
In Galaxia, Stella was ready to make her weekly report as she stood before the council members.
The room was huge and elegant. The grand chamber was a masterpiece of Galaxian architecture, from the golden platform where she stood to the ceiling, a fusion of gold and silver with intricate patterns that seemed to drip like molten magma, resembling a cathedral's view from above.
The huge windows had a unique shape that allowed the sun's radiance to reflect on the golden floor. Everything was advanced and stunning. The true art of Galaxia.
Before Stella sat the nine council members, the overall heads of each clan in Galaxia. Their high seat platform, slightly arched, was about ten feet tall from where Stella stood. In front of them were the crests of each of the eight Izigans clans.
Lord Orion, the Izigans' head leader, sat in the middle, with four council members on each side.
Lord Orion wore a long white robe made of wool, linen, and silk blend, its sleeves adorned with golden patterns. The rest of them wore the same style of robe but in different colors relative to their clans.
From the left sat Lady Diana of the Nebula Clan, dressed in green to represent the color of their cosmic energy. Each clan's color symbolized their cosmic style and culture.
Lord Flynn of the Sun Clan wore yellow, his robe matched with his weaved white hair and dark skin. Adorned with jewelry, golden necklace and rings, he showed off his wealth and culture.
Lady Ava of the Earth Clan wore blue and white. She kept her smile at hand, as she always did, staring down at Stella. Lord Ender of the Mage Clan wore red, Lord Remy of the Lava Clan wore orange, Lord Lucas of the Vixens Clan wore purple, Lord Liam of the Umbra Clan bore the dual colors of black and white, and finally Lady Axel of the Scarlet Clan adorned herself in pink.
They were all advanced in age, and through them the oligarchic system of rule was established to guide the affairs of Galaxia.
"Welcome, General Stella. We have word. Your past missions on the Peacemakers' case were nothing but a total failure," Lord Flynn spoke loudly, his voice echoed throughout the room.
"These Peacemakers have been operating for nineteen years, and in that time you've produced no results," Lord Flynn continued.
"Lord Flynn, I have information concerning the previous mission. It was...."
"There is nothing, absolutely nothing, General. I don't even see the need for you to be here." Flynn cut her off.
Stella clenched her fists, glaring at Lord Flynn, who, as always, had been ranting since she began. It was just like him, he always wanted things done quickly and without error.
Without hesitation, words she knew she shouldn't speak slipped out of her mouth.
"With all due respect, sir, I must insist you don't interrupt me again while I give my statement."
The chamber fell silent. The council members tried to decide if Stella had spoken rudely or not, but Lord Flynn didn't think twice. He took it as an insult and shot to his feet.
"How dare you speak before the council like that? You forget who made you General!" Flynn shouted.
"I was only trying to….."
"Silence, General! You dare still speak?" Flynn's rage burned across his face, fists clenched, if by chance he stood close to Stella, she would have been swept off the ground in an instant.
"That's enough, Flynn. This is not the time to unleash your anger."
Lord Ender stood to calm the situation, recognizing that Flynn's rigid temper had taken over again, something the council was far too familiar with. Flynn's expression still remained the same staring down at Stella, and he sat back down, though still fuming. He turned to Lord Ender as his new target.
"Lord Ender, I presume you are aware of the wonder boy who unlocked the Era Eyes at a very young age. And not just unlocking it, the third stage Era Eyes, a power that could rival even yours. Quite the candidate on your side, isn't he?"
Lord Ender laughed it off as a joke. They all knew his Era Eyes had already reached the fourth stage. Just one step away from the All-Seeing Eye, the fifth and final stage
"Yes, of course. He is a wonderful case. Being able to tap into that power at a young age was beyond my expectations. But he still needs guidance."
Lord Ender was still trying to uncover the mystery behind Ryan's eyes. For a Mage Izigan, mastering the Era Eyes usually took fifteen years. It was the hardest technique of the Mage Clan, and highly respected.
With it they could bend and manipulate reality as ease.
Once a user accessed the Era Realm, they were considered lords and masters because of the years it required to master. Lord Ender himself wielded the fourth stage.
But Flynn pressed on.
"Will you now say that boy is not a failure? I expected more from your subordinates, Lord Ender."
Flynn's words cut into Ender's heart. Though he held composure, his anger boiled beneath, he stared at Lord Flynn for a while, his expression had changed mixed with confusion and disgust, brows furrowed and lips pressed into a hard line.
"Lord Flynn, your attitude this afternoon is unacceptable. What has your clan produced other than creepy monk beliefs and solemn rituals? For once, control yourself."
Ender's voice was low, but the echoes in the chamber carried it everywhere. The impasse unsettled the council. What was supposed to be a simple weekly reporting hearing was turning into a heated atmosphere.
'Flynn hasn't changed since then' Lucas thought, watching the exchange.
Lady Ava stepped in with her calm voice. "That's enough, you two. We are still in council. Maintain composure."
Silence fell again.
"General Stella, what is the name of this boy who unlocked the Era Eyes?" Lord Liam asked, refocusing on the issue.
"His name is Ryan Nice, my Lord."
"You oversaw his last mission, which was a success. I believe Lord Flynn is unaware of that. He took on a mission above his rank, accompanied by two other Izigans like you said...." He pursed turning to Lady Axel beside him to continue "Thats no small feat, don't you agree, Lady Axel?"
"You're not wrong," Lady Axel said. "With such prowess at a young age, he could become more powerful than we can predict. He unlocked it at only twenty."
Flynn shifted uneasily at the name Ryan Nice. To him, it carried only one thing: evil. His mind dragged back to six years ago.
"Do you remember what happened six years ago? Since the Dust Era?" Flynn's words turned the chamber cold.
Memories flashed, ones they had all tried to bury.
Lord Flynn voice shifted into a deep, irritating tone.
"Do you all forget so easily?" His voice dropped, cold and steady. "Six years ago, the Dust Era. Henderson. Brother to this boy you praise. Sixty Izigans dead. My own son left clinging to life. And you would have me believe his bloodline carries no shadow?"
He leaned forward, eyes moving across those present.
"I thought Henderson's end came with the Void, but now you place your trust in Ryan? A boy cut from the same cloth? Don't be blind. History does not vanish just because you wish it to."
The room remained silent and only Lord Flynn's voice still echoed, it carried weight, memories of an Era that carved marks into their souls. Each of the council were restless, moving their heads from side to side as if trying to erase the memory Lord Flynn had reminded them of. The nightmare it caused them, the disgrace that nearly shattered Galaxia's reputation, It was just what happened during the Dust Era. It was his name itself. Henderson.
'Not this again, we shouldn't be talking about this'
Stella raised her head, observing the council from their seats. Most of their faces looked blank and unfocused, all except Lord Orion, who still stared back at her.
"Ryan, twenty at the time, fought alongside me. He had to fight his brother, knowing Henderson was scheming something we know not about. He was young, but he understood reality better than many of us."
Stella broke the silence.
"I don't buy it," Flynn snapped. "I don't trust him. Not at all. You want to ignore history, but the peace of this planet is at stake. I won't let evil breed under my nose. I see a boy, untested, reckless, and carrying the same shadow his brother carried. Do not mistake disobedience for destiny."
The council members knew lord Flynn was only talking because of the grief of his son, Ryan had proven himself worthy of their trust yet lord Flynn never accept it
"This generation has already proven itself," Lady Ava said firmly. "Lord Flynn, your grief is understandable, but you must not let it cloud your judgment."
"Don't make me laugh, Lady Ava. You have no clan. Calling yourself a leader is a joke. Your words hold no weight."
Lady Ava was forced to stay quiet, she knew Lord Flynn had words ready humble her but in the face of the council's unrest none had noticed Lord Orion's silence. Then, at last…..
"Hem-hem."
There was sudden silence and composure among them all.
"Lord Flynn," Orion's voice thundered, deep and commanding. "You seem to have forgotten where you are. If this happens again, you will be excused from this chamber."
Flynn lowered his head, anger boiled down, though the use to cosmic energy is forbidden in the room, Lord Flynn hand crushed the armrest beneath his grip.
"The Peacemakers' case remains under review. The Void continues to move in the shadows. Leave missions to the sector units. All departments must now focus strictly on their assignments. Planetary missions, the Void chase, and the Peacemakers.
This is my final judgment. The Izigan Call-Out will be initiated. Ensure your cases are handled before it begins. This meeting is over. Dismissed."
The council members touched the seals on their tables, signaling their departure.
Beneath Stella, a faint white beam appeared, swallowing her as she was teleported out.
She found herself outside the colossal doors of the chamber, Kenneth waiting for her. She wasted no time and began to walk away, with her expression Kenneth could vividly tell todays report wasn't the atmosphere she expected.
"Were you able to tell them about Ryan's discovery of brain engineering?" Kenneth asked.
"They didn't even give me a chance, I don't think they deserve to know everything," Stella replied.
"Let me guess, Lord Flynn?"
Stella panicked and quickly jotted towards Kenneth hitting him with her shoulders.
"Be careful. He has sonic interface; he could hear you. But yes, it was him." She whispered.
"Not surprised. Besides, you were the one reporting, not me. I saved myself from being shut down."
Stella gave him a sharp side-eye. Kenneth just laughed and grinned, which annoyed her even more
"Ryan left a message, though."
"Oh, here we go again. Don't tell me you still believe in Ryan's prophecy."
"No it's not a prophecy. This is serious. He wants us to handle it in secret."
"That kid really knows how to order his seniors around" Stella muttered folding her arms"
"Stella stop acting, it's just the two of us"
Kenneth, we have serious issues here. You've forgotten we're chasing the Void, haven't you?" Stella snapped.
"Actually… Ryan found the Void."
"What?"
'What is this kid not capable of? Stella thought.'
