Chapter 5
Before going to Mumbai, I had to make a few preparations—what to take and what not to, what to do and what not to. I had read many manhwas where the MC or some other character gets into trouble because of carelessness. I didn't want to be that person.
There were many questions in my mind before leaving for Mumbai:
1. Will things disappear after everything becomes normal?
2. Will my body reset after every sleep, like my weight or an injury?
3. What if I'm on my way to Mumbai, I fall asleep, and my scooty disappears?
4. Will I need extra fuel in my scooty, or will the tank reset after every sleep?
5. What if, while I'm taking money, my fingerprint gets left behind?
Just to be cautious, I thought about everything carefully.
So I decided to eat as much as I could and increase my weight while gathering things I might need for the two-day journey.
I took a bath and went to the market. After finding a good fast food restaurant (veg of course), I ate 2 burgers 🍔 with french fries 🍟 and drank different carbonated drinks like Oca Oalla or Fingersup (just being cautious 🙂). After eating a whole lot of fast food (for those who don't know, I have a very big appetite, 'cause I'm fat), I went to a mall and bought a big suitcase—bigger than the previous one. I also went to a chemist shop to buy one-time-use gloves 🧤 and grabbed multiple pairs.
Then I bought new shoes and full-body clothes to cover every inch of me (just to be cautious). After that, I also took some money from the counter to check if money would disappear after I slept (of course, there's also a chance that money will only disappear when everything becomes normal, but that's for later).
I came home, packed everything—food, drinks, things to sleep with 🥱. After the preparations were done, all I had to do was wait for the next day or sleep to check if things disappeared or not.
I wanted to at least put a cut on my hand to check if it would heal tomorrow, but I was afraid to get hurt (I'm a coward 😔). I thought maybe I could take anesthesia so I wouldn't feel pain, but how would I even know what and where anesthesia was?
In the end, I decided to be a man and do it… but honestly, I was scared shitless. Then I had an idea: what if I drove my scooty fast through a thorny bush? It would hurt, but not too much—it would only leave a scar and wouldn't even be that painful (because it had happened to me once before).
So I did it. I took my scooty 🛵 and went straight into the thorny bushes (they were at the side of the road 🛣️). It hurt a little, but I ignored it. After that, I roamed through the entire city just to waste my energy.
All I did afterward was eat and eat and think—what could happen, how I would find my way to Mumbai, etc., etc.
After doing this for hours and eating 4–5 times already, I was tired and decided to call it a day. I went to the gym and checked my weight, and surprisingly, it was the highest I had ever been.
It was a whopping 79.78 kg. I had increased my weight by a whole 5.67 kg in a single day. Of course, it wasn't even a full day—though I ate 4–5 times, it was a maximum of 12–14 hours, not the 18 hours I had first thought.
I came home, grabbed my pillow and blanket, went to the temple, and went to sleep.
It was a good sleep 😴.
