Regurd closed the distance as quick as possible, roaring with excitement as his giant fists were thrusted towards Hajime, now Solomon Solo. Solomon leapt out of range, bringing down his weapon to try and injure Regurd's fist.
Clang!!!!
" [ Thinking to himself ]; Just as I thought, they don't call him the human bolder for nothing... ...
So this is your Indomitable skill, the top tier rare berserker skill indeed".
Solomon pushed off Aimer's massive fist, putting some distance between them. He decided it was best if he brought out his first trick.
He extended his arm, pointing the Dark Knight's Weapon at Regurd as he released the limitations on his dark aura.
Waves of killing intent oozed off, catching the spectators and dignitaries alike. The announcer was shocked, deeming it a privilege to bare witness and commentate on what he called a possible, " Clash of Titans".
Regurd: " you seem to be quite well versed in dark magic. Does this mean I'm fighting a mage?!"
Solomon: " you know what, I'm not quite sure myself. But, mage or not, I'm still wiping the arena floor with your unconscious body... ...!"
Regurd: " oh really!!? Well then, I'd like to see you try!!!!!"
He proclaimed this, charging at Solomon with even more speed than before. Solomon made it his goal, to show Regurd the difference between a berserker's brute force and the grace of a swordsman.
He vanished before Regurd could close in, appearing behind him in a puff of dark smoke.
" Lookin' for me?!"
He got Regurd's attention with a mocking statement, suddenly unleashing a barrage of dagger strikes as Aimer attempted to turn and intercept.
From the announcer's point of view, his was an even match. However, Solomon knew he was holding back and so was Aimer and preferred to describe their current situation with the term, "gauging dual".
" [ Thinking to himself ]; This is no intentional stale mate. He's doing the same thing I'm doing to him, gauging my strength. Which leads me to believe he's still not showing his trump card yet. This battle might drag on longer than I thought.
However, if plan B works out, I'll still have my way.
Just you wait Nejima, I'm coming for your head!!!".
In his rage, Solomon lost focus of the match, taking a heavy blow to his stomach from Regurd.
" Hey!!! You swore to wipe the arena floor with me!!! Why the heck are you losing focus?!!!".
Solomon gave a sly smirk, realizing that his revenge still needs to be positioned to be fulfilled. He gripped his weapon tighter than before, vanishing once more. He had the intention of finishing the match as fast as possible with one final strike.
Regurd anticipated his path of appearance, turning and smashing his fist against the ribs of Solomon, or at least what looked like Solomon.
[ Shadow Cloak has been used ]
The apparition of Hajime [ Solomon Solo] vanished from his impact, leaving Regurd open to Hajime's devastating spike smash to his stomach with his spike field skill.
Although his hardened steel body protected him slightly, there were still major injuries. Regurd gathered the last of his strength, acknowledging Hajime and finally passing out from the blood loss.
The nurses rushed to his aid as the dumbfounded crowd and announcer burst in cheers and shouts over the heart racing bout they had just witnessed.
In the nobility stands, a purple haired figure, the third prince, Akion Roseworth, signalled his attendant to get him the assessment files of Hajime, who he reffered to as Solomon Solo.
Hajime's plan worked. It was only a matter of time before his revenge was at hand. He reflected on the aspects of his plan B.
" [ Thinking to himself ]; with plan B, the only thing I have to do is to deceive the third prince to turn on my family's alliance with the promise of backing him with my powers.
I'd then side with the first prince as a student in Goldeneye Academy to instigate their downfall. When the smoke clears, my Revenge will be at hand and the second prince with a more suited attitude will be in line for the throne. However, this will only work if my attention seeking was successful ".
As he thought his strategy through, a butler approached in a fine suit, inviting Hajime to the study of Prince Akion Roseworth.
With this, the announcer put the tournament on hold for the day, by order of the third prince, the tournament's host.
