Chapter Eighteen: 1+2=2.5

"Take care of yourself, Beta. Wait for me. When I return, we'll play together.
Good luck, William. But you should have done better camouflage."
"Alright, Merlin. I should start getting ready."
I smiled and stroked Beta's head. Beta rubbed his head against my legs, complaining a bit.
"Why is this bald guy here? Take me too!"
I fully understood Beta's words from his eyes.
I chuckled, looked at Merlin with heart-shaped eyes like Beta's, then winked at Beta and said, "Have fun."
"Hehe, you're teasing me. Now behave. Bye-bye."
William, wearing the King's men suit with sunglasses and a cane in hand, headed to the private jet. He was going to Israel as a blind researcher.
He walked like a disabled man, with pale skin, white hair, sunglasses, and a cane. Anyone who saw him either ignored him or just glanced and moved on.
I smiled—it was perfect camouflage, hehe.
A young woman was sitting in the seat. She moved closer with the help of a flight attendant, but she didn't leave her seat.
"Excuse me, I think this is my window seat."
"Are you with me?"
"Yeah."
"You blind?"
"I think so!"
"So what do you need the window for?"
"Well, I didn't expect it here… but never mind."
I slightly fumbled, folded my cane, and sat down quietly.
I hoped everything would go smoothly.
Four hours later, I disembarked with the help of the flight attendant and took a taxi to a safe house in Tel Aviv. I rested for a few hours.
At midnight, dressed in combat gear with two pairs of swords on my back, two pistols with magazines, a dagger, and a black mask, I went to an abandoned airfield a few kilometers away from Tel Aviv.
An old man with a long gray beard was waiting for me.
"So you've arrived, young man. This private jet needs money to take off, and it's in dollars."
I took the money bag from my backpack and handed it to the old man.
"Here, fifty thousand dollars in cash."
" Get in. You'll need to jump from several thousand feet in an hour, young man, hehe."
I nodded and entered the two-cabin private jet. We started flying, and an hour later, the old man reported our arrival at the meeting point with the American contact.
"You better jump quickly, young man, or it'll be late, hehe."
I opened the hatch and jumped.
After a 10-second countdown, I deployed the parachute.
Landing, I quickly packed the chute, using night vision goggles and a compass, and continued moving to the marked point: 100 meters right, 50 meters forward, 30 meters left, 10 meters east, stomp twice.
A few seconds later, a hatch opened from the ground.
I approached—several guns pointed at me.
"What are you doing here?"
"Watching the stars."
"Which stars?"
"The North Star."
"You came to the wrong place."
"Uh… was there a continuation?"
Confused, I placed my hand on the gun, ready to attack.
I frowned. What a troublemaker.
"Sergeant, why are you bothering the kid? Let him in."
The guns were lowered, a few people laughed and left.
"Don't worry, our agent also needs some fun."
I nodded. No problem.
Your companions have arrived, they were just waiting for you. Come with me.
I followed them through several tunnels until we reached a metal door. It opened, and we entered.
Behind several desks and chairs sat a man and a red-haired woman. They looked at me as we entered.
The man frowned at my appearance; the girl just gave a charming smile and relaxed into her seat.
The man was the first to approach me, raising a hand.
"I am Agent Coulson from the FBI."
I shook his hand.
"I am William," I said nothing more, sat on the chair, and closed my eyes behind the night-vision glasses. Only my hair was visible.
Coulson stood there like a fool for a moment. That's it. I am William. And he left!
So now, what am I supposed to do with the two pages of prep I had ready?
He looked at Natasha, then at me. The resemblance was striking. He shrugged, sighed, and sat in his chair.
The sound of a door opening. William and Natasha stood up simultaneously, glanced at each other in surprise, then nodded and rushed toward the door.
Coulson didn't understand why these two were so synchronized, but he knew something had happened.
