The train wheels clacked loudly against the railing as Adries ran from the looming creature. The beast was at least six foot tall. Each car seemed the same. Red chairs, sliding doors. Red chairs, sliding doors. Red chairs, sliding doors. Reapiting over and over again. He could feel it's hot breath brush over the back of his neck, making his hair stand on end. Fear ingulfed him as if he were doused in gas and stood in a flame. By time he reached the final door, he could barely hear anything from the thrumming of his heartbeat in his ears. Sharp claws grazed his shoulder, ripping his white shirt as he threw open the sliding door. Everything felt numb. He was exhausted from all of the running. Anybody could tell he hadn't had a good sleep in days. Weeks, possibly. Time was an odd thing around here. The train picked up speed, sparks becoming visible from the windows on the side of the train. The room stretched forever. Adries thought this was the last cart, but it was more like a moving hallway that was infinite. Sweat trickled down his brow, falling into his eyes. But it didn't matter. Nothing else besides escaping that monster mattered. His vision grew blurry as his lungs started drawing in less and less air. He could feel himself growing tired. Tripping over his now untied laces, he sprawls across the red carpeted floor, hitting his chin hard. Get up. Get up. He has to get up. Footsteps sounding of thunder reachea him as he stands, breathing heavily. He swears a tooth is loose now. Blood trickles from his mouth as he tries to stagger forward. His body was giving out on him. Each and every muscle was on fire, him barely able to drag in any breathes. Wailing, he starts to run forward, instinct taking over, pushing far past his limits. Red dotted his vision. He was bleeding from his eyes. He couldn't stop here. He had to reach the exit. His friends died so he could escape. A slash to his back knocked him forward. It all happened so fast. Blurs of colors hit him as he felt himself being torn open. No screams came. All his fight left him as a pool of blood gathered around him. As his vision grew ever so darker, only one thought crossed his mind. There was no escape to this hell. But how he ended up here? He still didn't know. As he faded, it slowly started to rush back into him, memory after memory but becoming once more re-lived.
