Elven king directly denied ny saying ' I'm sorry ' , at which everyone present were now clearly showing hostility , and Riggs spoke " your fellow kings ready to help us and are even sharing how to use their power which are unique to their kind but why are you the only one declining , I persume you must give us a reason " .
Although what Riggs said may look simple but Calador was a smart man he quickly understand what he wanted to say it was a direct threat to him , if they both are willing to share their power you should also do the same , but Calador wasn't a man to be messed with so he said " I clearly said we can't share our power with humans , no offense but spirit's are something that only we Elves can use and sharing this information with humans and teaching them about how to have a spirit it's a ' Taboo ' for us.
When Calador said that the other's were confused thinking he was lying but Riggs said " Taboo why is it a Taboo , sharing your knowledge with others so that they can work for the good of mankind , is it something that shouldn't be done or not , I thought elves would do anything for humanity's sake ".
What Riggs said was clearly an insult towards King Calador so that he may tense up and make a mistake but Calador Silvermoon knew what Riggs wanted for him to do and said " You see there's a difference between other elves and us , we are High Elves". When Calador said that Riggs was taken back and so were the other heads of the 10 families , for a while he thought and said " I've never heard of such a thing as High elf, will you explain us so we could understand better " Riggs said it with a smile but inside his head a storm was raging because he knew nothing about high elves, the elves he captured and tortured them for their secrets to power even they didn't mention it and now he is saying he something else , this will affect my plans.
King Calador Silvermoon said " Elves and High Elves may look same to you , but there is a clear difference between us .
Elves possess innate skills but they lack the spiritual depth, the spiritual power they have is very low and then they inherent power from us .
When Calador said that everyone sitting across the table was shocked and it was Riggs who asked again " You mean the power we see the elves using , you the High elves gave them is that what you are saying", at which the Elven king replied woth a smile and said ' Yes ' .
After confirming what Calador said was true Riggs was literally controlling himself for not going mad thinking in his mind ' if the high elfs are the one who gave power to the normal elves , then it means he is very powerful and does not want someone else to have spirits , so now only one way is left if he won't help us' .
Riggs spoke again and said " we understand thay you are a High elf and can't tell us about the spirits then as a way of forming alliance how about forming a marriage of your daughter Princess Seraphina with our King's second child John he is a perfect candidate for your daughter , as he finished saying that.
King Calador said his voice cold " Mr.Riggs I have been tolerating your behavior for a while now but each time you kept crossing a line you shouldn't have , I can kill you before you will even notice do you understand , but now you bring in my daughter that's something else".
Riggs spoke midway " I had no bad intentions just to form a long and happy allaince through marriage it's simple and its a perfect match for your daughter , an Elven King's daughter marrying anothers King's son what's wrong in it , if you think your daughter will refuse , you just have to say and children must accept what their parents decide.
When he said that King Calador was sure that this man Riggs was an evil person who would do anything to achieve his goals, Calador was trying very hard to control himself but when he mentioned marriage of his daughter that was something he couldn't ignore and said " Mr . Riggs one more word out of that damn mouth of yours and I will kill you on the spot , you are an evil person you know that , I'm clearly declining everything you asked of me but I don't lnow what kind of ambitions you have , that you are pushing yourself so much but now you're even involving my daughter , you are nothing and their won't be any kind of deal between us both and as for your information we are High elves and my daughter will chose herself who she wants to spend her life with , to be more specific High elves can marry only High elves or else they will remain alone for the rest of their life, it's about bloodline we can't taint our bloodline by marrying others".
Riggs and the other's were completely shocked by this boldness of Elven king , and on the other hand dwarven king and the leader of cultivator didn't said anything as they knew this would happen, Riggs was completely caught off guard by what Calador said but his pride was hurt and said " I'm not an evil or selfish person , all I want is for us humans to grow alongside and do something for humanity".
King Calador said " I Know everything you said is a lie and yoy are an evil person but Maybe I didn't mention it , you know spirits are a part of nature they are pure and they could read one's heart what is inside the heart of that person , is he a good man or evil? and to tell you the truth my spirits peeked into your heart and all they saw was darkness , pitch black darkness and nothing else you are an evil person it's better to kill you now but I won't waste my time on someone like you" Calador said that and he stood up and went to eat something.
The heads of the 10 families were shocked by such revelation ans asked the dwarven king if what he said was true at which he replied " It's true the spirits can see what's in your heart and as for his temper he controlled it or else there was no stopping him , afterall he could fight both of us at the same time ".Both of them stood up and made their way towards the food they wanted go try the delicacies of this place.
The 10 family heads were left all alone at the table but Riggs was quite shocked in his mind several things were racing ' he could read people's heart with spirits and still he didn't said it in the start that Calador wanted me to humiliate myself in front of everyone and I only made a fool out of myself, but there's no way I'm backing down , I will get that spirit power for myself".
There were many influential people in the banquet , the alchemist , the blacksmiths, all had the chance to talk with the Royalty, the children of the 10 families were also enjoying the banquet although what they were doing was something their father's told them to do, it was to get close to Princess Seraphina and Princess Nova during the banquet, both the princess rolled their eyes when they saw them approaching , the both of the girls knew what was coming and they hated a bunch of kids their age thinking that they could get close to her , she wanted all of this to be over, she wanted to see the academy and the challenges that are awaiting her.
Levin was simply walking through and then he saw it the massive town in front of him so he rushed towards the gate there was a long line of people merchant's with caravan waiting to enter , Levin was happy to see so many people for the first time , Levin stood in line waiting for his turn to come after one hour , the guard at the entrance asked Levin for an identification , levin showed him the card upon inspection he let him in , when Levin entered the town he was surprised to see so many buildings , people moving around , the place was beaming with life , children were playing with eachother , Levin inhaled a fresh air and said finally I've reached ' Oakhaven ' , now all I have to do is ask someone about the teleportation portal but first I should eat something and rest afterall I have 2 days so it won't hurt me to relax for a while .
Levin wanted to explore this town but the time was not on his side because only 2 days left and he will be enrolled in the academy , levin wanted to feel and live like human not someone whose mind was filled with rage and revenge although I will kill those evil beings who killed my parents not just mine also those kids who are orphans and have no one to take care of , In Levin's mind there was a thought taking root and it was that he would stand against the oppressers and help the poor and weak although he can't help everybody he would try to make sure the losses are minimal, well I had a long day so now I would like to rest, time to find a place to stay and with that Levin moved toward the inn he saw first.
