The match wasn't over yet, but nearly everyone believed Jason Luo had already secured victory. After such a brutal exchange, Zack Bruzz had been knocked down by repeated heavy blows—at this point, the chances of a comeback seemed almost nonexistent.
Yet, against all odds, Zack somehow rose within the referee's countdown. After a brief check, the referee determined he was still able to continue.
Jason didn't think much of it. Zack was clearly tough as nails—but that didn't matter. As long as he launched an all-out assault before Zack's senses fully recovered, his opponent wouldn't last long.
Most of the audience thought the same. When Zack stood up again, the entire arena grew even louder with excitement.
"Wow! That guy's insanely tough! No wonder they call him The Mustang Marquez! But today's his unlucky day—Jason Luo's definitely taking him down again! Go! Jason, finish him!"
"He still won't quit? Then beat the fight out of him!"
...
At the referee's signal, the bout resumed. Jason charged forward at full speed, swinging wildly. But to everyone's surprise, Zack didn't just defend—he counterattacked with wild ferocity!
And his counters were no joke. The power behind his heavy punches suddenly seemed back at full strength!
Jason exchanged several hard shots before realizing something was off. His eyes widened in disbelief. What the hell? How can he still hit like this?
Could that ability really be that powerful?
But in a fight at this level, even the slightest distraction spelled disaster. The moment Jason's focus wavered, Zack's rear hand unleashed a savage combo!
Two straights followed by a hook. Jason dodged the first, but the next two smashed into his head. The first punch left him dazed—the follow-up hook sent him sprawling sideways onto the canvas.
The entire stadium fell silent.
What kind of match was this?
The momentum had shifted again and again—Zack's early dominance, Jason's impossible comeback, his fierce counterattack—and just as victory seemed within reach, another shocking reversal!
Those punches left Jason reeling, vision spinning, limbs weak. But the next moment, a familiar system alert echoed in his mind:
"Severe damage detected—knockdown during official match…"
A warm surge spread through his body, rapidly clearing his mind. The world sharpened before his eyes, as if someone had just focused a blurry lens.
By the time the referee started the count, Jason was already pushing himself back up, confused but steady. What's going on with Zack?
Zack, meanwhile, was equally stunned. How the hell is this kid standing again? I hit him twice in the head—how is he not out cold?
Neither fighter could understand it, and the audience was in complete disbelief.
"Holy shit—what are we watching? Is this guy even human? This is some Iron Man-level stuff!"
"No way—this has to be Iron Shirt or something!"
"Get it right, man! He took it to the head—that's Iron Head Technique! Damn, I've seen everything now!"
The referee ignored the chatter. As long as neither broke the rules, the fight went on. Seeing Jason alert and stable, he immediately signaled for the match to continue.
With both Unyielding Body and Intermediate Skill bonuses active, Jason felt unstoppable. Before Zack could even react, Jason lunged straight at him!
The crowd was stunned.
What kind of monsters are these two? Decades of boxing knowledge suddenly felt useless. The fight had completely defied logic.
Normally, a boxer who'd just been floored could barely stand, let alone launch an attack. Most would turtle up defensively, buying time to recover.
But Zack wasn't normal—he countered recklessly instead of backing down.
And Jason? He was even crazier—he attacked again!
To the crowd, this was vengeance in its purest form.
No waiting, no holding back—just pure adrenaline and fury.
"Crush him! Jason Luo rises today!"
"Revenge! Take him down! Damn—tough bone meets iron rod! Let's see who's harder! Luo Army, let's go—fight, Jason, fight!"
Jason stormed forward, landing two quick punches—but the bell rang before he could continue. The third round was over.
...
Back in his corner, Raul hurried to wipe the blood from Jason's face. "Jason, how are you feeling? Hang in there—he's almost done too!"
"I'm fine. But Coach Brown, that guy's weird. His recovery's insane..."
"Yeah, I noticed. Maybe that's what makes him so much like Marquez. Forget it, Jason. At this point, it's all or nothing—but watch yourself out there."
To save energy, Coach Brown kept the talk short. He quickly reinforced Jason's injured nose with cross-wrap tape. The moment they finished, the bell rang for the next round.
...
Round Four began. Jason's stats surged another 15%, his overall power and resilience skyrocketing—especially his heavy punch and durability, now far above Zack's level.
That percentage-based boost paid off more the longer the fight went on. With all his attributes nearing twenty, it was like gaining thirty or forty bonus points from nowhere. The moment Zack threw a punch, he realized Jason's power was now overwhelming.
He tried to hang on, but within two minutes, he was on the defensive, arms raised to protect his head. Seeing that, Jason switched targets, hammering his ribs with six or seven brutal body shots. Zack's face twisted in pain.
As Jason stepped in for another barrage, Zack panicked—he dropped his guard to protect his body with his elbows. Exactly what Jason was waiting for. He feinted, then snapped a hook straight to Zack's ear.
Zack toppled immediately.
Yet somehow, he staggered back to his feet again—but this time, it was pure instinct.
Jason closed in and unleashed two blistering Combination Punches, each one driving Zack further back. The referee stepped in quickly, wrapping his arms around Zack to stop the fight—he was done.
The next moment, the AT&T Center exploded. Over forty thousand fans roared as men threw their jackets into the air like fireworks.
"Long live the victory! Jason Luo, you're a legend! I'm a Jason fan for life!"
"Boxing greatness! Unbeatable skills! Jason Luo 666!"
