[1st POV]
(15 years later)

"I think this is it," I said while looking at the long winding stone stairs that went up Mt. Mushiro.
The steps were old, outright ancient, aged by centuries of footfalls and changing weather. The path cut through a thick forest up the mountain, and the stairs had old red tori gates every fifty or so steps apart.
At the end of the stair path, somewhere in the mountains, was Tokyo Jujutsu High.
"Hard to believe I've been in this shithole world for fifteen years now," I said to myself with a small smile. One more year and I would be as old as I was back in my past life.
"System," I called out as I began climbing up the stairs.

I briefly read through my status while I walked up the steps. My system was unfortunately starkly different from that of the Gamer System. I did not have skills, nor could I learn skills, so instant progress was not possible.
Even the status interface did not show my attributes or anything too detailed. It was more like displaying data that I was already aware of.
In a sense, my system was like a template system more than anything. The only difference was that the system had a shop from which I could buy various things. All related to Mobile Legends.
The things I could buy range from the game Heroes, Items, and Spells. But to buy these things, I needed Battle points, which could be earned through battle, like the name suggests.
The amount of Battle Points I earned differs. The main factors were how strong the enemy was, the impact of the battle, and whether I won or not.
Fortunately, the strength of the enemy was not determined based on my own personal strength. Meaning a second-grade curse would give the same amount of battle points even if I got stronger.
Although there was a limit to how weak my enemy could be to be considered a battle.
"45 percent?" I rubbed my chin while looking at the integration rate. I was genuinely surprised by the 2 percent progress I made since the last time I looked at my status because I didn't do anything to earn those points.
The integration rate increased with my age. Training and battle experience definitely helped, but the rate would still increase purely with age. I got the hero from the Hero Roll, so I didn't have to do anything to get the powers except wait until my body grows and adjusts to the powers.
At the start of my life, when I couldn't train, the average increase was 1 or 2 percent every year. I began training from four years old, but only did hard training after I turned ten years old.
When I did the hard training, the integration rate averaged at 5 percent every year.
And yet it has only been three months since I turned fifteen and I have already made 2% progress. To add to that, I barely trained during the past three months because I was busy studying.
I never went to school in this life, and my parents were focused on training me to become a powerful Sorcerer. So I had to catch up to all those studying again to enter Jujutsu High.
"Is it because I am in my development years?" I asked myself, "It would make sense. Perhaps I am supposed to reach full integration by 21 or something,"
Actually, that would make sense.
I reached the end of the stairs and came upon a small clearing. It was not the peak of the mountain, as I could see a higher peak on the horizon. But that huge clearing was where Tokyo Jujutsu High was located.
"Hm?" I noticed immediately the power barrier that was erected at the last tori gate. In truth, all of the gates held a barrier of their own. The mountain itself was layered with countless barriers like an onion.
But most of them were subtle and not exactly meant to stop an intruder outright. There was a barrier that sensed me, a barrier that hid the whole thing from civilians, a barrier that poked at my reserves to check my cursed energy, a barrier that scanned my bloodlust, perhaps etc.
But the last barrier was the most powerful and obvious one. I felt some resistance as I tried to pass through it, but it was gone as soon as it appeared. I suppose the first act was to try to stop me before I recognized my signature.
I barely knew shit about barriers, mostly because my clan didn't know shit either. But I could still appreciate the mastery it would require to erect such safe barriers around the whole mountain.
My eyes looked forward instead of peeking at the thin barrier visible to me. The Tokyo Jujutsu High sprawled before me in all its traditional glory. The size was nothing to scoff at. It could probably hold thousands, although only a dozen live here.
There was another short path leading into the entrance of the compound. The path had tori gates even bigger than the ones on the stairs. The places beyond the path were a clearing with some boulders, ponds, and grass that was neatly trimmed.
The treeline was visible at the width of the compound where the rugged mountain began again. With the rest of the mountain behind the compound, there was only one entrance to Jujutsu High.
There was the entrance at the front, the mountain continued its steepness behind, and a rugged forest surrounded the compound on both sides. The school was snugly nested between all that.
There were stone walls with a roof surrounding the compound. It gave a traditional vibe to the whole place immediately, and I think that's what they were for. The barriers were the real protection, not these walls, which any sorcerer could jump over.
I entered the compound at an even pace, my steps echoing loudly through the eerie silence. The many structures only worked to make the place emptier than just an open clearing.
But suddenly, the footfalls stopped.
I stopped.
I sensed movement. No, not exactly a movement. More like something that wasn't there one moment ago was suddenly there in another.
Like something appeared out of thin air.
I turned my head towards the presence. My eyes immediately locked on the person standing on the roof of a traditional Japanese house.
He had white hair and wore the Jujutsu High uniform, which I haven't received yet. He also wore a shade that didn't cover his blue eyes.
"Hey!! Hello!!!" He called out and waved at me.
...
Gojo Satoru.
The strongest Sorcerer in the world was waving at me. I knew him from both my past life and in this life. He was a celebrity in both worlds. Every person in the Jujusu World knows the Six Eyes wielder.
"Are you also a first year like me!! Please tell me you are a first year like me!" he said.
Upon hearing no reply, he made a hand sign. My eyes widen as I see the effect of that small gesture. I turned back on instinct and caught his hand before he was able to pat me on the shoulder.
"Huh?" It was not just me, but he was surprised as well when he saw me catch his wrist.
"Teleportation," I said, my voice impressed.
"You reacted," he said, more baffled than impressed.
He looked at my hand that was holding his wrist before looking at me again. "How did you do that?" he asked.
"I should be the one asking you that," I said and released him. "Compressing space like that is absolute bullshit."
"Oh, you knew," he said, surprised, "Most people don't know that until I tell them,"
I didn't know it before; I saw it happen just now. I was the reincarnation of the legendary Black Dragon, meaning I was going to inherit its power and biology to an extent. And in MLBB lore, Dragons were legends and compared to Gods for a reason.
Dragon eyes. Although they were not as good as the Six Eyes, they can see basically everything. There was nothing above or beyond a Dragon, so all could be understood and seen by my eyes.
"You're interesting," Gojo said while his face split into a grin. He pushed his shade up his nose, but his piercing blue eyes still focused on me.
"My name is Gojo Satoru, nice to meet you," he said while offering a hand.
I looked at his hand for a second before taking it in mine. "Kurotatsu Kuragane. And yes, I am first year."
"That means we are going to classmates," Gojo said and celebrated, "Yay,"
"I guess so," I nodded.
Fuck, I wanted to fight him. Strength had a smell to the Dragon's nose and Gojo was oozing off the scent even though he was so young. At this stage, he hadn't even learned RCT.
I wonder how many battle points I would earn if I fought him and won.
Not only would I get a lot of Battle Points because I defeated a powerful foe, but that victory would have a huge impact on Gojo, who never lost. It might even lead to him learning RCT way earlier than he should and that would change the whole course of Jujutsu Kaisen plot.
I was planning on racking up Battle points by joining Jujutsu High, but it seemed it was going to pay off even better than expected.
"Do you often do that?" Gojo asked while snapping his finger infront of my face.
"Do what?" I asked with a blink.
"Spacing out suddenly like that. It's like you suddenly get trapped in your own mind," he said thoughtfully while rubbing his chin.
And then he smiled, as if he could no longer be bothered about that.
"You're weird, I like you," he said, showing all his teeth and a thumbs up.
It was going to be one heck of a high school life.
