Suddenly, a screen appeared in front of Adil. The color was dark red — like blood. Words appeared in glowing crimson:
Special Ability Unlocked: Self-Healing
Adil blinked. "Huh? Self-healing?" he said. "Looks like a cool ability… hehe."
Then he heard a noise.
He stood up quickly. "Damn it… I forgot about those red lights," he muttered.
From the shadows, a creature stepped out. Adil stared.
"Zombie? No… it looks different."
The creature had red eyes — the same as the serpent. Its body was skinny, with black skin. It roared and jumped toward Adil.
Adil reacted fast. He threw a straight left punch. The hit pushed the creature back — but not by much.
"Huh? What…?"
The creature attacked again, swinging its claws. Adil blocked with his arms, but the claws scratched him. His skin started to burn. The scratch mark heated up.
"Ouch… what is this?"
The creature jumped again. Adil moved to the left and dodged.
Then the system appeared again.
Creature Identified: ZOAG
Classification: The Weakest Creature of the Ninefold Realm
Intelligence: 0
Danger Level: F
Traits: – Claws burn flesh – Teeth cause paralysis
Adil frowned. "No weakness? Seriously?"
Access Level: Limited
He groaned. "What kind of joke is this?" he said, annoyed.
The creature attacked again. This time, Adil tackled it with both legs, knocking it down. He started punching fast — left, right, again and again.
"Heh... Tackling is a good option to guard against the opponent. Although this creature is dumb," he thought, while smirking.
Suddenly, the creature grabbed his right hand and bit it. Adil felt his arm go numb.
"Damn… it paralyzed me!"
With his left hand, Adil grabbed a sharp stone nearby. He stabbed the creature's eye deep. Again and Again
The creature screamed and fell back.
Adil stood over the dead Zoag, breathing hard. His body was healing again — the scratch and paralyzed arm slowly fixing themselves. But the pain was strong. Not as bad as the fall… but still terrible.
"AHHHGUGU!"
He screamed as the healing burned through his nerves. His arm shook. His skin boiled. Then — silence.
The system popped up again.
Creature: Zoag Info Unlocked: – Weak durability – Weak point: Eyes
Adil muttered, "I see… so eyes are weak points. Huh." He smirked.
Then he heard something.
Noise. Lots of it.
He turned around.
More Zoags were coming — many of them.
"What the hell… why are there so many?!"
Adil ran. The creatures chased him — faster than before.
He pushed his legs hard, trying to escape. Then he saw it — a cave on the right side.
He dashed inside.
The Zoags followed… but stopped at the entrance. They couldn't find him.
Adil hid behind a rock, breathing fast.
"Sigh… thank God. Their intelligence level is zero."
He walked deeper into the cave. The air was cold. The walls were cracked. Then he saw it — a red light glowing at the center.
He stepped closer.
It was a crystal. Floating slightly above the ground. Glowing like fire.
"What is this…?"
He reached out and touched it.
Suddenly, a sharp current hit his hand.
"Ouch!"
His body jumped back. The crystal pulsed again.
Adil stared at the crystal, still feeling the shock in his hand. Then he noticed something beside it.
A statue.
It looked like a man wearing a dark hoodie. But the face… was a skeleton.
The statue was holding a stone tablet — a scribe with strange writing.
Adil stepped closer.
"Huh? I can't understand this language…"
Suddenly, the system appeared again.
Translation Activated:Have the guts to endure it.
Adil frowned. "What does that even mean…?" He stared at the statue, confused and curious.
Then his eyes caught something else.
A skeleton — lying near the wall.
He blinked. "Skeleton…"
He walked toward it.
It looked like a human skeleton.
"Wait… was there a human here before me?"
Beside the skeleton, there was a piece of paper.
Adil picked it up.
Words were written on it…
