The words still had a sting to them.
At this moment, Uncle Jack roughly understood that Aitar probably hadn't turned into a pirate to come back and rob them.
If he had truly gone bad, he would have acted against him long ago.
"Hmph... you brat!"
"Come over and help!"
Uncle Jack took a couple of breaths, glared at him, and then turned his head to continue with his tasks.
Aitar quietly walked over and started to help.
He didn't know what to say.
But he knew that saying less or saying nothing at all was best.
Now he was mostly able to suppress those evil thoughts in his mind.
But Aitar didn't think they posed no threat.
He clearly felt that this influence had only hidden itself, transforming into something deeper.
While sorting through Old Nelson's belongings, Uncle Jack kept chattering.
"Before you, Rogel and Lina already came back, it was just before..."
Here, Uncle Jack paused and glanced at Aitar.
"Never mind, let's not talk about them."
