Li Rui felt puzzled, but didn't give it much thought.
The place was dubbed "Chaos Land" because the forces here were intricate and tangled in conflict. In some regions, there were already small-scale military skirmishes, so a small war wasn't anything unusual.
The main thing that piqued Li Rui's curiosity was, whom did they want to fight? Given the current situation, it didn't make much sense for a battle to break out.
However, Morris was even less likely to know. He was only in charge of internal affairs and was unaware of the outside situation, so Bamonde couldn't answer either.
"But sir, Morris said that the preparation level for this war is very high, and they might be planning something big."
"I see," Li Rui said, "Do you have any other information?"
"No," Bamonde answered.
"Okay, thank you."
"You're too kind," Bamonde was flattered, "You saved my life."
"I mainly came for the information. Saving you was just in passing."
