Chiron led the leader of the Gray Wolf Knights up the wide stone steps carved out by ogre slaves. The high stone steps forced the tiny kobolds to use both hands and feet, occasionally needing the strong centaurs to help them up by two steps to barely keep pace with the centaur's stride.
In the world of Giant Dragons, everything advocates grandeur and beauty; even the stone steps for climbing the mountain are expansive and tall. This seemingly modest peak can deter ordinary people just by its ladder.
