On October 1st, National Day, a day of celebration for everyone, the Yi Family's Ankang Transportation Factory officially opened. A full row of military green transport trucks, freshly repaired and painted, was lined up, eight in total, each with a big red silk flower on the front, looking very festive.
Although the Yi Family had just arrived in Jing City, the site for the factory had been chosen early on. The factory building was newly renovated, though not much renovation was needed—just constructing a parking shed and a few rooms for offices, a canteen for meals, and a restroom to address basic needs.
Furthermore, in just half a month, the factory had already hired three people. All were skilled drivers, having served in the military and retired. They had some injuries or disabilities, like missing a finger or a slight limp, but they were perfectly capable of driving as they had previously driven transport trucks.
