Feng Lishu was much faster and cleaner in selecting vegetables than Yi Roujing.
"My mom's cooking is terribly awful." Feng Lishu noticed Yi Roujing's surprise and explained with a click of her tongue, "My dad loves my mom and is too embarrassed to say anything, so he cleans his plate every meal. I can't do that without feeling guilty, so I had to improve myself."
"I learned from the neighbor aunts and quite a few others, picked up a bit here and there, and now I'm the best cook in my family." Feng Lishu sighed, "My parents only have me, and I used to be really worried about what they would do if I got married."
"Just find someone to help cook then." Yi Roujing suggested with a smile.
"That's what I thought too, but my dad stepped up." Feng Lishu squinted her eyes with a smile, "Now my dad cooks better than my mom, so I don't have to worry about them anymore."
