Not many people cared about the midterm exam, but Xu Mumu and Du Yu did take it seriously. In just over two days, the results were out. With fewer students, the speed of grading skyrocketed.
As expected, Xu Mumu was the first again, and Du Yu surprisingly came in third. He did quite well in every subject.
Xu Mumu was quite satisfied with this result, and Du Yu didn't expect he could come in third. The second in class was Xiao Mengqin, which didn't surprise Xu Mumu much. Since losing a bet with her, Xiao Mengqin had been studying very hard and quickly surpassed the previous top students in the class.
