Caleb Lockwood sat in a chair as Victor Rhodes led in an elderly man in his seventies.
The old man was dressed very plainly, his face filled with wrinkles, his body slightly hunched, following behind Victor Rhodes.
"Teacher Lockwood, the family of bed 24 is here," Victor Rhodes said, standing up to get a chair for the elderly man to sit.
The elderly man waved his hand, refusing: "I'll just stand, you doctors are busy, I don't want to trouble you."
Victor Rhodes nodded, sat across from Caleb Lockwood, and began attending to his own matters.
Caleb Lockwood glanced calmly at the elderly man standing in front of him, his thin lips slightly parted: "Sir, we've called you here to discuss your wife's condition in detail."
