Serena Sutton glanced at the meal card in his hand, feeling a bit embarrassed.
However, since she was already there, she might as well thicken her skin and eat. The two of them walked to the cafeteria window, and Serena pointed at the egg pancake and soy milk, saying, "I'll have these two."
The cafeteria lady skillfully grabbed the two items for her, smiling as she asked, "Anything else?"
Serena looked at Caleb Lockwood, "Aren't you eating?" Surely he wouldn't just watch her eat, right? That would be awkward.
Caleb calmly shook his head, "I don't eat outside."
Upon hearing this, Serena remembered the time she had invited him to dinner and he had directly refused, which made her feel quite disappointed.
"Did you refuse my dinner invitation last time for the same reason?" Serena couldn't help but ask the question that had been on her mind.
Caleb didn't expect her to bring it up, paused, then seriously responded, "Yes."
