What is most abundant in the Bone Plain?
Corpses!
And what is most lacking?
Equally, corpses.
For the Undead here, as a weak leader, ordinary Skeleton Warriors can satisfy all their needs. After all, in low-rank Undead battles, Skeleton Warriors are the most suitable troops.
But reaching the level of an Undead Mage, a large-scale Magic spell can cause Magic Damage over dozens of miles. It's imaginable that no matter how many Skeleton Warriors, they are just useless cannon fodder.
For the weaker side, they can still use a strategy of numbers, but against opponents of the same rank, it seems somewhat cumbersome.
And this is the main reason why the Undead Mage fled. Having lost the constraint of the Bloody Butcher, no Undead can stop the charge of the Death Knight. In a one-on-one situation, a Silver Peak Death Knight is not even a match for the Undead Mage. Even in close combat, the Undead Mage has a hundred ways to kill this enemy.
However…
The Banshee remained nearby.
