The surrounding subordinates were already looking bewildered, and Boss Zane looked at his direct nephew as if he were in a haze.
"Nate, have you gone crazy or lost your mind?! Your uncle is here! Why are you speaking for this shameless woman? She's practically stomping on me and breaking my ribs, why aren't you coming over to help me?"
Although this nephew now holds a high position, he relied entirely on this middle-aged man named Zane for survival when he lost his father. Fortunately, the nephew was grateful, so over the years, even when Boss Zane did many wrong things, the nephew would turn a blind eye, or even abet wrongdoing.
