After a walk to the office and being held back by the teacher for a chat, Xie Qingci didn't seem fazed at all, staying calm as if there was nothing else stuffed in his pocket.
Yu Xia, on the other hand, was terrified of being discovered, curled up in Xie Qingci's pocket. She only slowly poked her head out to breathe once class started.
She noticed that Xie Qingci wasn't paying any attention to the lesson, his hand pinching away outside the pocket. She kicked him through the fabric, and he switched to doodling on his book instead.
He drew her, in the image of a big-eyed cute girl holding her face.
Yu Xia glanced at him mournfully from the edge of the pocket, then lay back down again.
The teacher's lecture was quite hypnotic, and as she listened, she fell asleep.
She woke up drawn by a tantalizing aroma.
Listening to the silence around, she cautiously peeked out and scratched Xie Qingci's chin.
"Oh no, how am I going to eat?"
