Florence Locke knew well how to deal with a Great National Master who had already made a move against ordinary people.
A Great National Master was essentially a double-edged sword; no one could predict them. They could foresee the fortunes of the nation and naturally could use what they foresaw to alter everything.
Used well, it's a benefit to the country and its people.
Used poorly, it creates a demon for the world.
Florence Locke recounted a story to Thea Shaw: "Do you know? The first generation Great National Master was born together with the founding emperor of Qirenia, but there is no record of this Great National Master in Qirenia's history books. Do you know why?"
Thea Shaw widened her eyes: "I haven't heard of that."
Since the history books did not record it, of course, she didn't know these things.
