Chapter 31 - Chapter 18: Now You Can Start Dating_2

This is evident from the steadily increasing 19.8 million followers of The Dump Me Alliance.

The Jilted's persona is one of aloofness.

When saying The Jilted is cool and reserved, no one doubts it. When saying The Jilted is insecure, no one believes it.

When Sean Lowell was seven, Finn Lowell and Quinn Fairmont divorced because of the "seven-year itch."

Finn Lowell adopted a critical approach to educating Sean with no form of encouragement or affirmation given.

As a result, Sean, who was outgoing before the age of seven, concluded he was a failure and utterly unappealing from the time he started primary school.

The shadows of childhood can maybe only be lifted by finding the people from one's childhood and recalling those initial happy memories to truly release negative emotions.

Sean took out a "necklace" from beneath his collar, a heart-shaped button threaded on a thin red string.

Touching the button, gazing out the window, a voice echoed within him: "Could it be you? That light illuminating my life before the age of seven?"

.........

Summer Fairmont appeared at the airport's arrival gate dressed in a collaboration piece between Burberry's new designer Riccardo Tisci and punk godmother Vivienne Westwood.

The traditional charm of the classic Burberry plaid wool fabric was paired with The Dowager's consistently androgynous yet sensual whimsy.

A cropped Scottish plaid jacket showed off her midriff, paired with a matching ultra-short skirt.

The faint outline of her toned abs matched the unisex beret she wore on her head.

Two of the most iconic British brands, using the most traditional androgynous fabrics, paired with the most sensual punk designs.

Summer Fairmont did not possess the perfect combination of The Pouting Siren Lolita face and a devilish figure. What she had was an extreme elegance of punk.

Even without a body full of tattoos or piercings everywhere, one could still feel her endless coolness.

Yet, Summer Fairmont was not that kind of icy cool.

She had the sunniest skin tone and the most perfect body proportions, much like Anna Mysanovich.

Summer Fairmont was an enigma.

An enigma of character.

At a glance, one can see two sharply different directions, yet can't discern which one is the true direction.

Perhaps neither is true, or perhaps both are not false.

Relying solely on the outfit she wore, Summer Fairmont could perfectly embody the spirit of The Wellness Punk Association.

Yet Summer Fairmont was a girl who completely did not care about fashion.

Summer Fairmont was an enigma.

An enigma of family.

A girl who became independent at 13, never asking her family for a single penny afterward. Even if she wanted to care about fashion, she wouldn't have the time, energy, or money.

The Burberry outfit that perfectly merged with her personality was a gift from Artie Vaughn.

Artie Vaughn met Summer Fairmont after Leo Vaughn, who managed everything for her, returned to the country.

Summer Fairmont was an outstanding chef, taking charge of all of Artie Vaughn's meals.

Summer Fairmont was an outstanding handyman, capable of fixing both light bulbs and pipes.

Three to five times a year, Artie Vaughn would accidentally buy clothes a size too small.

Or if they discovered that The Dowager released an outfit perfect for "sister-style," they wouldn't not buy two sets, or else they'd die of depression.

Summer Fairmont, who could do everything except act coy.

And Artie Vaughn, who could do nothing but act coy, were quite a pair.

"Well then, let Artie introduce you. This is my earth-shatteringly amazing, top-notch bestie, my like-minded soul mate... uh... co-founder, Summer Fairmont," Artie's voice, as always, was cooingly sweet.

Leo Vaughn had heard Artie mention Summer Fairmont countless times on the phone but was meeting for the first time at this airport pickup.

Leo was at a loss for words on how to describe his first impression of Summer Fairmont; it was an indescribable feeling.

So contradicting yet so harmonious, it's a feeling that words cannot express.

A feeling unexpressable should be categorized as no feeling at all, right?

"Hello Summer, I've heard Artie mention you often." Leo Vaughn shook Summer Fairmont's hand gentlemanly.

Leo did not use the full name that would sound distant upon hearing, but rather the name that Artie chanted in his ears daily.

After a warm yet gentlemanly exchange, Leo couldn't help but question, "When did my sister become so impressive as to have a partner company?"

"Oh brother, you interrupted me before I even got to finish introducing Summer! Couldn't you have let me finish my intro?" Artie's normal speech sounded like acting coy, and when she seriously started acting coy, it could make guys crumble and the stock market crash.

"Summer, listen carefully. This opposite you, my earth-shatteringly amazing, top-notch brother, my twin brother born five minutes before me, named Leo, known as the Nation's Gentleman, the National Heartthrob of many young girls' dreams. Hereby, as Cupid's sole representative on Earth, I approve of your right to date now," The Devilish Lolita delivered her opening speech.

Summer Fairmont gave Artie Vaughn an expressionless yet warm hug, leaving her with one phrase in her ear: "Enough is enough."

Leo Vaughn also opted to ignore the Earth's representative of Cupid, Artie Vaughn.

Their reactions greatly frustrated The Pouting Siren.

Summer Fairmont asked her to stop, and Artie dared not resist.

Artie always looked up to Summer as her leader.

Unable to resist Summer Fairmont, might as well protest against Leo Vaughn?

Absolutely not!

They didn't even look at who their doted-upon twin sister was.

"Oh brother, why aren't you paying attention to me?" Artie Vaughn's degree of coquetry towards Leo was the highest among all males on this planet.

Once the unique brother~ two words slipped out, Leo could only surrender.

"How do you want your brother to respond? This is your twenty-first Cupid's choice for me, isn't it? As long as any female classmate you know returns home, Cupid's bow will cross Eurasia straight to your brother's heart." Leo sighed somewhat helplessly as he patted Artie's head and turned to open the car door for Summer.

The Nation's Gentleman's slender fingers transformed the simple act of opening a car door into the epitome of gentlemanliness: "Sorry if we made you laugh, I mean no offense, I just can't stand Cupid's representative on Earth's abysmal archery skills."

Leo placed his hand against the car frame, preventing Summer Fairmont from accidentally hitting her head on the doorframe while getting in.

Only after closing the car door for Summer, did he continue criticizing Cupid Vaughn's archery skills: "It's no exaggeration to say, earth-shatteringly, first-rate clueless."
