When Li Xing woke up again, it was already the evening of the second day. Despite clearly having slept for a long time, she felt even more exhausted than before falling asleep, with a persistent ant-biting pain in her meridians and Dantian.
Hearing the sound of Li Xing getting up, two female Tower Guardians walked in respectfully to assist her with dressing and grooming, bringing easily digestible food. Unfortunately, Li Xing had no appetite and didn't even finish half a bowl of porridge.
A clear male voice sounded outside the door, "Ah Xing, can I come in?"
"Yes."
Li Xing waved her hand, and the Tower Guardians withdrew respectfully, just brushing past Chu Yunyi who was entering. Chu Yunyi glanced over the meal, his eyes darkening slightly.
"Ah Xing, if you're still feeling tired, go lie down for a while."
"It's already this late, I won't lie down." Li Xing was really afraid that if she lay down, she'd fall asleep again, wasting precious time.
