They all watched as Brent, the normally confident and cocky man as they knew him, seemed to nervously laugh and speak. Karen winced.
"Oh no. He's not good at this." She murmured and Casper hit her knee again.
"Stop it! His life is in danger. Who would be good at public speaking when that is happening?" Taylor didn't say it, but she could feel who everyone was thinking about. There was one person who seemed to be good at everything even when his life was in danger.
One person who was distinctly missing, but who had been referenced and bragged about.
Pamela coughed, and hesitated before she finally spoke.
"Well, seems like he needs to add a public speaking portion to his classes." She murmured and Taylor frowned so that she didn't laugh. This was a very serious moment, especially as Brent continued to speak. Casper turned, ready to tear into her.
