Uehara Naraku was, in fact, a transmigrator.
And on top of that, he was a system-equipped cheat.
In the future ninja world, there were countless shinobi who loved to cheat—many of them ended up banned or stripped of titles—but whether there was one more or one less didn't really matter much… or maybe it did.
A month ago, he was simply called Uehara—a normal person.
One day, while strolling outside, Uehara encountered an eccentric book vendor. They exchanged a few casual words, and Uehara found the vendor strangely agreeable.
After all, both of them were old-school anime fans. Just a random topic, and they could chat for hours.
Before leaving, Uehara felt a bit embarrassed, so he bought a random book from the little stall—truly at random.
As the ancients once said: "In books, there are beauties, treasures, and endless knowledge. Reading can never be harmful."
The ancients were honest; they weren't wrong.
Sometimes, books even came with their own systems.
The vendor had been unusual. Despite only running a small stall, he priced the books according to their covers and sold one to Uehara!
Wasn't this obviously a money trap?
In hindsight, it not only drained his money but also altered his fate.
Back home, the moment Uehara opened the book, he was bound to a system called [All Anime Fans in the World Will Fulfill Their Wishes], abbreviated as the Anime Wish System.
The system was crude, far from AI—it could only assign tasks.
Upon activation, it analyzed Uehara's preferences via big data and immediately transported him to the ninja world. From that moment on, he became Uehara Naraku.
Uehara Naraku's backstory was peculiar.
His father truly had been a first-generation Akatsuki member, but after fathering him with his mother, he went to follow Yahiko and never returned.
A mother raising a child alone in a war-torn village like Amegakure had it tough. From a young age, Uehara Naraku had been taught by his mother to refine chakra and survive as a wandering ninja—until he was eventually killed by a hidden Iwagakure shinobi.
And so, Uehara became Uehara Naraku.
His main quest was singular: fulfill the book vendor's wish by becoming the greatest boss in the ninja world. Progress: 0%.
Truly a simple, brutal system!
But why couldn't it just let him fulfill his own wish of being an ordinary person? Why did he have to fulfill someone else's wish?
What if, someday, someone wished to become a crow, changing their species? Would the system still grant that?
Of course, besides the main task of becoming the ultimate boss, the system would periodically issue random side quests of varying difficulty.
Strictly speaking, these were more like wishes from anime fans—wild, strange, and unpredictable.
The system, however dim, wouldn't issue obviously conflicting tasks at the same time… or would it?
For example: one side quest could darken Naruto's heart; another could make him eternally warm; yet another could pair him with Sasuke… what the heck?!
According to Uehara Naraku, the quest givers were strange people, and the rewards varied wildly.
Some rewards came from League of Legends: sometimes granting hero skills, sometimes heroes themselves as summoned creatures, and sometimes gold.
This wasn't ninja world currency—it was real gold coins, used to buy bizarre and unique equipment.
Uehara Naraku opened his status panel for the first time. He knew it would be a long while before he could access it again.

For Uehara Naraku, the only consolation was that his skills were decent, not useless orphan skills.
Except for Body Flicker, gained when learning basic chakra control, all other skills came from combat quests.
Tears of the Goddess had been purchased from the system's occasional shop using gold earned from side quests. In the ninja world, chakra was precious, and this item could be lifesaving.
The system had assigned him two side quests: one to create an organization, the other to join one.
If he were twenty-two, he would naturally choose to create one. But he was only twelve!
With his acting skills, sneaking into an existing organization should be no problem.
This body's identity was too convenient not to use. It would be a waste not to.
As for who would ultimately become the Akatsuki's true mastermind and the greatest boss? Nagato, Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Madara, Black Zetsu—they'd all compete fairly.
Such a fun nested-game. Why not join?
Uehara Naraku was not picky. His goal was simple: become the final layer of this game, outwit even Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, and complete his main quest.
Currently, Akatsuki was in decline, half-abandoned. The secret base sat in a river canyon, with members scattered on missions, some remaining behind.
Among the organization's big spenders were Orochimaru, obsessed with human experiments, and Sasori, who enjoyed human artistry.
"New recruit?"
Orochimaru noticed Uehara Naraku behind Pein and Konan, licking his lips. "Or are you some experiment for me?"
"…"
Pein shook his head calmly. "He is the organization's new intern, Uehara Naraku."
"Pleased to meet you."
Uehara Naraku smiled brightly. In the dark cave, his youthful energy clashed sharply with the gloomy surroundings.
"Hmph!"
The others merely sneered and ignored him.
Uehara's smile vanished instantly. A bunch of jerks…
Was his carefully practiced smile only meant for Maito Guy and Rock Lee types?
Konan patted his head gently and whispered, "Uehara, why don't you find a place to train on your own?"
"Oh, of course!"
Uehara stepped back, nodding.
A single iris flower swayed lightly above Konan's head as she walked deeper into the cave. Despite the dim light, a massive figure could be seen inside.
Ugly in appearance, yet overwhelmingly powerful.
The Ten-Tails' husk, the Outer Path Golem, lay hidden here. The Akatsuki members didn't yet know its purpose.
"Yahaha! You're an intern too, huh?"
As Uehara stared, a playful voice piped up. A hand patted his left shoulder—but when he turned, no one was there.
Then his right shoulder was tapped. Clearly, the prankster had moved.
If this person was an intern too, it had to be Uchiha Obito, Uehara's future colleague and competitor for the ultimate mastermind position.
Uehara furrowed his brow and clapped his hands together, activating a skill instantly: Lightning Release: Ten Thousand Thunder Prison!
