When I was already dying, I realised something. Something that wasn't right, something that was odd, something that had even shocked the other people and even the Knight. Yes, I wasn't able to die. It was true that I didn't want to die but it shocked me that after a powerful attack that could have even blow up a house.
I was standing there still with lots of pain of burning skin. My muscles were burning. Some parts of body even started to show my bones. At that time the only thing that I can think of to survive as I can. To just endure this brutal pain. My screams were as loud as a launch of space shuttle.
My consciousness was barely keeping up with my body. My situation even scared the knight.
He ordered his underlings to extinguish the fire and then there was at least some relieve as the fire couldn't spread any long into my body and at least my bones and much of the muscles were still there.
But the pain of burn was still there, and my condition was worst.
I was in a situation where it was better to die but the human will to stay alive was still keeping.
Then when I thought what was the reason that I didn't die. It was because of the power the power to die by your will.
This thing was a surprise to me. It was so surprising as I never would've never even thought of the situation where I will be burning but I will not be able to die and endure the sufferings.
There was still a chance that it may have been luck, but those chances were still minimum.
I was just lost in the thoughts that's when Solan came. He seems to have successfully find my location. He talked to the knight why he was doing that, but knight was opposed the very idea of me giving back to them. It seems like that was the grudge he was holding towards me as being a human.
But the biggest problem here wasn't this but the thing that I am a human, if Solan got to know about that what will happen then. It would create too much trouble, and I may lose my only supporter in this world. I was thinking on that only when Jacob arrived, He seemed to hold a big post under King. He talked to knight and resolved that matter, he instantly solved the matter.
But the question wasn't how he solved it. It was why, what was his need to save someone like me. Then Solan saw me. Some of my muscles even turned into ashes. That sight even scared Solan his reaction showed that he lost hopes of me being alive but then I asked how he found out about me.
I asked him: It was because of synchro?
At first, he looked behind to make sure I was the one talking.
I said: Hey, you aren't seeing things I am alright.
He said: Oh, I am glad about that, but I am more shocked.
I said: Well, things happen and now I got in this situation.
He said: I didn't find you by synchro, I even didn't look on that.
I said: You know, I was getting my hopes that I may helped you but leave that.
Well, that means he doesn't know about that incident, and it means I can keep this power as a secret. Also telling it now would only cause trouble. So, for now let's keep it a secret until I meet the god that gave me this power.
Jacob: You know how much trouble you have caused to me.
I said: Why would I know?
Jacob: Better explain everything when we reach at my mansion.
I said: I will try my best.
After then we reached his mansion, he called a doctor who treated me. His doctor said I will take one week to recover properly and advised me proper bed rest. He also mentioned some other things to Jacob in personal.
On that week the whole things I was only thinking is, maybe this power is not true. How can a power like this can be given to person like me. Also, because of damaged I endured Jacob seems to know that I maybe have a great power or else I wouldn't have survived that. He has also asked me what kind of magic power I use to confirm that.
But I referred my original magic power the illusion magic power which is not that special but since he was suspicious, I had to show what my power did. Solan just thought me as normal and seems to believe that I was just saved by luck.
But if my power is death by wish then how much can I endure and what can what are my limits or what if there aren't any limits.
After one week
Now I was recovered as if nothing happened. Seems like my injuries will heal a little fast like not that much but just little fast. But one thing is sure the injuries will give the same pain it gives to normal person and since I cannot die. So, I just have to endure that pain until it heals. It means if there are severe injuries I may have to endure them for a month.
This time also the burning pain has given me the hardest time whole week every time I just move little my pains take over. So, much that even a normal person couldn't dream about it. The body was always in pain. My condition was so worse that only doctor comes to visit me that only twice a day. My whole sight just brings people grief.
And if someone asks me how much pain was there. My answer would be simple;
that I can't tell. I can't, I can't
There is no way in this world I can take that pain. Because this kind of pain you will only experience in death. But you forget everything after death.
So, to people I may be similar to everyone but that isn't. I just tell them that there wasn't much pain. I told that to Solan and Jacob, but I only know the truth. I couldn't sleep first 3 days because of the pain that hurt me every second. It was as I was still burning these 3 days.
But this is the only way after all the power isn't given to anyone else so there will only be one person who will endure this suffering. I will make sure to not make this pain overcome my power So I will make sure that I won't give myself a thought of dying.
Also, the thing for which I came in this world is to achieve my one and only dream. To be the most superior. I will make sure that this power helps me.
Then came the time when I met with everyone. I was in a room alone for a week so I couldn't meet with everyone. Also, my condition didn't want them to meet with me so they will probably ask if my condition is ok...
I replied to them that it is absolutely fine.
So, the mission is to go to the place of this world devil. The place where we were planning to go also. The land of greed, we will now be able to go there. After a long wait, we didn't have to make arrangements and now we could go there.
Solan seems to be scared. Not that it is a bad thing if I was in Solan's place I would also be scared. It isn't like he hasn't gone there so he shouldn't be scared because what will happen, he will not even get to relate it with that. But the thinking and people with whom he grew up has always showed mentioned that as a danger. And the fact that no one has never gone there makes it even more dangerous.
Human thinking is scared of endless thinking, so it always seems interested and scared of mysteries. It is like a human may not be scared of thief he knows but he may be scared of a alley where theft is common.
Jacob although not seemed scared but instead he was confused of what will happen.
And then the person who was remaining was me. To be honest I didn't feel anything. From the time when I got in this world whole time I was with unknown people, even unknown race. So, the thought of new place other than this doesn't even bother me.
Now the time came when Jacob called us both and told what we were going to do.
I got to know that the emperor was behind this, he wants to kill all the humans who destroyed the earth. As a mission the secret organisation members which had powers equal to that of a knight, were given different tasks related to humans. Where, Jacob was given the task to go the land of greed, gather information and get to know about the humans and make preparations for their abduction.
I asked Jacob: Why did you chose us only you would have many options for the mission.
Jacob answered: Well, there is a reason for that. No matter how powerful one was they weren't going to that island because of the hate everyone has against the humans. But you people only seemed to care about money and took hard missions even in low levels. So, I guess that you might go there. And maybe I was right.
Solan said: It isn't like we agreed we just didn't know the mission we accepted.
Jacob asked: So, will you?
Solan said: Well, we will.
Jacob said: That is good to hear, you sure have some guts.
I also replied: Well, I think have resolve not guts.
Jacob: Well, thank you for your support, I hope it would be a nice time to be work with you both, also there may be times when you can find yourselves working with no objective, but you should stay until end. If you do, then the emperor will surely reward you with best things.
Now it was clear that a huge adventure is coming ahead but the only thing which I can think is how I will be able to find God achyuta and how will I be able to achieve my dream.
