[Kaizer woke up, his body still heavy with sleep. He had no idea what awaited him in this city of angels. Just two days ago, he had turned five. Normally, when an angel reaches that age, their wings begin to appear. But in Kaizer's case, nothing had happened. His mother, Rozana, thought it strange, yet even she did not know the true reason behind it.]
"Kaizer, are you awake?" his mother called out.
"Yes, coming!" he replied, rubbing his eyes.
"Here, take your breakfast and eat well. Today is an important day for you, isn't it?"
Today was Kaizer's first day of school. Unlike other children, Kaizer had never really made friends. For reasons he didn't understand, most children avoided him. But now he had a chance ,a new beginning, a chance to meet new people.
"Yes, Mother. Today is indeed an important day," he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
After quickly finishing his meal, Kaizer ran to his room, dressed himself, and stood before the door. It felt like a threshold to a new world.
"Bye, Mother. Take care, and don't worry too much!" he called as he left.
Rozana smiled gently. Kaizer had always been unusually mature for his age, kind to all forms of life, and devoted to his mother. Yet no one knew who his father was, and that secret weighed silently between them.
"So today's finally the day," Kaizer thought as he walked towards school. "The day I get to meet new people, maybe even make some friends. I don't know if I'll succeed… but I hope there are kind ones out there."
As he walked, a sudden sensation stopped him in his tracks. A presence , pure and holy, unlike anything he had ever felt. When he focused, he realized the aura was coming from a dark, narrow street to his right. A sign stood there, etched with the warning: "Entry Forbidden."
"This aura… it feels so warm, so pure. Should I… see who it belongs to?" he whispered to himself. "But the sign says forbidden… Still, will I ever again get the chance to meet someone like this?"
After a long moment of hesitation, Kaizer's curiosity won. He stepped into the street.
The air inside was thick, oppressive ,as if the shadows themselves were alive. Yet within that darkness, the pure aura glowed faintly, pulling him deeper.
"H–Hello…?" Kaizer called, his voice trembling.
Before he could finish, a chill ran through him. Out of the gloom emerged an angel, but his wings were drenched in black. In his arms, he carried a young girl, around Kaizer's age. She was unconscious, her small body glowing faintly with golden light. The holy aura was hers.
Kaizer froze. His hands shook, his breath caught. Fear gripped him like a vice. And yet, deep within, something pushed him forward.
"I… I will save her," he whispered as he clenched his fists, his voice barely audible but filled with determination.
The black-winged angel turned, his piercing gaze locking onto Kaizer. A cruel smile twisted his lips as he stepped closer.
"Hey little boy," the angel said in a chilling, mocking tone.
A shiver ran down Kaizer's spine , a fear unlike anything he had ever known.
