I was at the front while the others walked behind me.
I stopped directly in front of the door and took a deep breath to reassure myself.
I slowly pulled the door outward because it was heavy, and we began to see what was behind the door.
It was a square room with a very high ceiling.
In the middle of it, there were ten statues of strange shapes arranged in a bow shape.
I entered and looked around the room, but there was nothing except the statues.
[The first mission will start now]
[If the statue you stand beside lights up, this means this is the path you must take.]
[pass the awaited test, and walk the destined path]
Suddenly, a large screen appeared in the middle of the room with these words written on it.
"The destined path? This sounds suspicious."
The blue-haired man spoke, suspicious of these words.
"I wonder what my path is? It must suit me."
The white-haired girl was interested in the path she would follow without worrying about the dangers that would accompany it.
"We won't know what this means until we try, I will go first."
The large man moved towards the statues, and we watched closely to see what would happen.
He stood in front of the first statue on the right, but nothing happened.
So he walked to the second statue, and as with the first, nothing happened.
The same happened with the third statue, until he finally stopped in front of the fourth statue.
A bright red light appeared, indicating that this was his destined path.
I raised my head and saw the shape of the statue, which was of a man holding a giant sword on his back, standing upright with crossed arms.
"It says that my destined path is destruction," the large man spoke calmly.
"I knew it! You must be a bad man!"
The blue-haired man jumped from his place, pointing at the large man as if he had discovered something important.
We all looked at him with slight pity before completely ignoring him.
"I will go next."
The white-haired girl walked near the statues until she stopped at the eighth statue when it glowed.
It shone with a bright golden light, and the statue was of a woman holding a large scale in her hand.
"As expected of me! I am justice," spoke the white-haired girl proudly as she raised her head toward the sky.
"Oh, I, I..."
The blue-haired man ran quickly toward the statues and stopped at the sixth statue.
And when we saw the shape of the statue, no one in the room could suppress their laughter.
"Hahaha, I expected this." The white girl laughed from her heart at the top of her voice.
"Haha, this suits you." The large man spoke, laughing slightly with sarcasm.
Even the brown-haired girl, who had been silent the whole time, laughed a little while covering her mouth so no one would see.
And for the concerned man, he was on his knees with his mouth wide open, frozen in shock.
The reason for this laughter was the statue that emitted a multi-colored light like a rainbow.
The statue was of a man with a wide smile and narrow eyes, holding cards that he moved from one hand to another.
Even if we had memories, we instinctively knew what this meant.
"My path is... the ruler of deception, damn it! Damn it!"
The blue-haired man hit the ground with his fist, tears flowing from his eyes like a waterfall.
I stopped laughing after a short while and looked at the girl standing behind me hesitantly.
"You go first."
She nodded and began walking toward the statues.
She stopped in front of the ninth statue, which was of a woman putting her finger to her lips, a sign of silence.
We could all guess what her path was just by looking at the statue.
"This seems interesting, silence is this girl's path."
The white-haired girl opened her mouth with a curious look in her eyes while the large man nodded in approval.
"Don't worry, little one, this big brother will protect you." The blue-haired man said with a smile to her.
"And how will you protect her? By giving her a flower? Hahaha." The large man replied with a sarcastic smile.
"You bastard, do you want to fight?"
The large man shook his head to the side, uninterested in the blue-haired man, which made him even more annoyed.
Then the entire room fell silent, and all eyes turned toward me.
"Seems like it's your turn now?"
I nodded and stepped forward, passing by the statues until I reached the fifth statue.
Unlike the other statues, their faces were all visible.
This statue seemed different, as the man wore a very long robe, showing only his mouth.
"Why did you stop here? This statue hasn't lit up yet."
The blue-haired man was directly on my right, and when he saw that I had stopped in place even though the statue hadn't glowed, he felt strange about my behavior.
"This is my path." I repeated to him calmly.
"Huh? But..."
"This is my path, I feel it."
I interrupted him before he could continue, because I had an inner feeling telling me this was indeed my path.
The screen that appeared in front of me confirmed that I was right.
[You are the ruler who knows everything and anything, your path is the path everything relies upon, you are {The Ruler of everything}]
"Okay? What is your path?" I asked the white-haired girl with curiosity.
At the same time, everyone also noticed, as they were feeling curious.
"My path is, the ruler of everything."
"Hahaha, ruler of everything, this is so funny, haha, ha, hah, ahem, excuse me."
The blue-haired man laughed, wanting to mock me because I had made fun of him earlier.
But he stopped laughing when he saw everyone looking at him like a fool.
[You have known everyone's path and the path that destiny has determined for them]
[Now, the first test will begin to determine if you deserve what you will take]
I read the floating words and wanted to see the reaction of the others, but...
"Huh? Where did everyone go?"
