"Big brother, big brother, wake up! It's time for school," Myra said.
Kael was still snoring. Myra hit his head in annoyance.
"I said wake up, goddamnit!" Kael finally woke up, drool on his mouth. "What's up, sis? Why are you waking me up so early?"
Myra said angrily, "Don't you know it's time for school? Everyone's ready besides you."
Kael pulled the blanket over himself and replied, "Oh, it's only school. Let me just sleep for two more minutes."
Myra frowned. "That's the same thing you told me last time and ended up not going to school. Wake up, or I'm calling Mom right now."
She left and came back immediately with their mother.
"Don't you want to go to school today?" Mom asked.
"No, I don't," Kael replied.
Mom shouted loudly, "Dear, are you listening to your son? Kael says he doesn't want to go to school today because he still wants to sleep more!"
Their father then replied in a loud voice, "Just let him be! Let him sleep a bit longer—he's still young, so let him enjoy it while he can."
The mother and Myra both put their hands on their heads. Mom muttered, "Why did I even bother asking?I forgot that they are birds of a feather."
Myra then remembered something. "Hey Kael, don't you want to see Saphira today? I heard she's putting on her PE uniform."
Kael jumped out of bed with excitement and rushed to the bathroom.
Mom then asked Myra, "Who is this Saphira you're talking about?"
"It's his crush. I'll tell you the details when I get back from school," Myra replied.
Myra asked her mom, "Where's our eldest brother?"
Mom replied, "I think Michael should be done eating breakfast by now!"
