"There's enough nonsense," A male voice could be heard. "You can't run away anymore… using the organization's resources to make profit, do you really think the organization is stupid?"
"Yes, they're stupid. I know you're… undercover," No. 10 said the last word in an extremely low voice as he looked at no. 7 who was standing just a few meters away from him.
'What?'
Conan felt his consciousness slipping and he could barely hear the words after 'you're.'
"Cava."
Bang!
The glass broke and a bullet pierced in no. 7's direction. He leaned to the side, avoiding it and then started fighting with no. 10.
The two of them fought fiercely, seemingly trying to have a contest.
Crack!
In the end, No. 10 felt his bone broken and no. 7 was getting ready to catch him, but he stepped back and then took out the detonator. He purposely stayed further away from the window to avoid no. 8 interfering with their battle once more.
"Cava… heh, what an annoying codename," No. 10 spat out and looked in Conan's direction. The boy was still in coma and there was a surge of emotion within no. 10's heart.
This is the protagonist.
He's lying down there weakly.
All along, No. 10 hated the protagonist so much that he hoped the other party could die so that the world would not revolve around him.
Click!
No. 10 pressed the detonator, hoping to kill them all, but nothing happened.
His expression stagnated and he almost screamed out loud.
"Give up," No. 7 punched no. 10 once again. He proceeded to tie up the other party's hand. To be honest, no. 7 really wanted to use a handcuff, but that might expose his real identity to Conan, which was not something no. 7 wanted.
At least, not yet.
He didn't want to be exposed for the time being.
When no. 7 bent down to pick up Conan, No. 10 suddenly struggled and picked Conan as he backed away towards the fire in the restaurant.
"Don't do that!" No. 7 looked at this scene and gritted his teeth.
"If I have to die, I'll at least take someone else with me," No. 10 sneered.
Acting kind and righteous in front of the protagonist… He couldn't do it.
Even if the performance required him to do that, no. 10 would rather be a villain until the very end.
"You've betrayed the organization… do you still want to drag innocent people in?" No. 7 frowned when he saw no. 10 trying to take Conan too.
He felt that the script was getting more and more awry.
"You don't understand! Why do you all could stand under the light so spectacularly while I can only stay in the darkness? It's not fair! I just want to…"
Boom!
