It was only after seeing no. 8 and Akai Shuichi did Megumi Aiko realized that Josh Parker is no. 8.
She didn't know his appearance before nor did she know his identity.
But when she saw him, she felt inexplicably annoyed.
Besides… no. 1 would not shoot ordinary people arbitrarily.

Corrupted FBI [8]: It's me. Finish the questioning quickly before that brat comes here. He's currently being called by Takagi. I don't want to stay here any longer.

Josh Parker nodded coldly and walked out. Upon seeing Conan was trying to get close to him, he easily avoided the brat and didn't care for him.

She couldn't ask in person, but she could always ask in their chat groups.
"Officer Megumi!" Conan complained and then looked at Josh Parker departing back thoughtfully.
He shouldn't be an ordinary person, but Conan didn't know who he was exactly. The skills that he showed had already told him that he's very skilled and all.
Megumi Aiko saw Conan's expression and sighed in her heart.
Thankfully, no. 8 didn't have any plans to be around Conan. This arc should just be the arc where he and Akai Shuichi confronted each other.
