Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Yandere Hearts

A soft jade in his arms.

Lucas embraced Raiden Mei without any psychological burden, fully enjoying the warmth of her delicate body.

The Cook is 172 cm tall.

Lucas is 178 cm tall, and as the two of them embraced, with not much difference in height, he rested his chin on Mei's fragrant shoulder, his hands unconsciously wandering over her soft, warm body.

Although conquering Yandere Valkyries was dangerous, he could also find a sliver of solace in it.

"I love you," Lucas whispered.

Raiden Mei, like a broken record, spoke with a flushed face.

"I love you too…", "But… why can't you leave St. Freya Academy with me? I want to know why, Lucas."

At this point, Raiden Mei's tone, though cold again, was much better than before.

At least she didn't draw her sword at the slightest disagreement.

Raiden Mei just held the man even tighter.

The inhuman strength made Lucas feel as if he was about to be crushed to death by Raiden Mei's embrace.

Fortunately, the Cook consciously controlled her strength.

Although Lucas felt uncomfortable, he wasn't going to die; struggling to breathe, he was both in pain and happy, the pressure on his chest was an unparalleled delight.

Lucas struggled to say, "Calm down, Mei, the Headmaster and the others won't allow us to escape."

"The Headmaster… that's right! The Headmaster, and everyone else…" Raiden Mei seemed to realize something suddenly, and she bit her lip again, "But haven't we not tried yet? What if it succeeds…?"

"It's impossible to succeed; we've already tried many times."

Lucas's gaze was somewhat complex.

In the ninety-nine cycles of reincarnation, he had once considered eloping with Raiden Mei as one of the ways to clear the game.

Unfortunately, it failed every time.

After all, the power of St. Freya Academy was too strong, unlike the normal timeline.

Here, S-Class Valkyries were abundant.

The Valkyrie teacher responsible for teaching Lucas's class was…

The instructor and combat theory teacher—Himeko Murata, and it was the Herrscher of Flame version… her control over fire was once his lingering nightmare.

The biology teacher was Mobius.

The history teacher was Hua.

The geography teacher was Pardofelis.

The chemistry teacher was Sakura.

The physics teacher was Vielvie.

The English teacher was Elysia.

The math teacher was Mei.

The art teacher was Griseo.

The music teacher was Eden.

Lastly, the school doctor—Aponia.

All these teachers were S-Class.

The math teacher, Mei, also had the Key of Blankness version; she could freely transform between four Herrscher forms, provided she obtained the corresponding Herrscher Core.

And Raiden Mei?

Currently, she was still an B-rank Valkyrie.

Only when facing a life-or-death crisis, awakening as the Herrscher of Thunder, could Raiden Mei fight against the various subject teachers.

Even so, Raiden Mei couldn't possibly contend with so many S-Class Valkyries on her own.

Furthermore, St. Freya Academy also had a host of C-rank trainees, as well as B-rank and A-rank Valkyries.

Raiden Mei had no chance.

"Mei, we can't risk our lives," Lucas gently stroked the Cook's back to soothe her emotions.

When dealing with Yandere Valkyries, one must be as tolerant and understanding as if coaxing a child.

They were indeed much like children.

The only difference was their combat power; Valkyries were all too powerful.

"Trust me, Mei, I will definitely find a way for us to live happily ever after."

"Happily ever after…" Raiden Mei buried her small nose in Lucas's neck, "I am… I am very happy now, Lucas, as long as you can stay by my side… just stay by my side."

"I'll make time to be with you, but… I also have many things to do."

"You want to go on an adventure, right? I know… I know the other Valkyries are a bit off; they will kill you, they will definitely kill you."

Crystal tears rolled down Raiden Mei's beautiful cheeks, quickly soaking Lucas's shoulder.

It was much like how a madman would not admit to being mad.

Yandere Valkyries would not think there was anything wrong with themselves; they would only believe—the problem lay with others.

Raiden Mei cried and whimpered.

"If someone else is going to kill you, I'd rather do it myself."

Lucas was not surprised by this statement.

The Yandere Valkyries had a strong desire to kill, which could not be dispelled with just a few words; continuous effort was needed to make them slightly more normal.

As for making Yandere Valkyries completely normal?

Lucas had never succeeded once, nor did he harbor such extravagant hopes; even a pure love route would not succeed, let alone now that he had no intention of taking a pure love route.

The moonlight silently fell upon the two, as if draped in a silver veil.

If one ignored Raiden Mei's murderous words, the scene was still quite beautiful.

Lucas gently stroked the Cook's smooth purple hair and said, "This is all for our happiness, Mei; I'm not afraid, and I won't die."

"Happiness… can we truly achieve happiness?"

Raiden Mei released Lucas and gently pushed him away, looking at the man's face with a serious expression.

Her purple eyes were full of love.

It had to be said, Lucas's appearance was quite good; his features were well-defined, handsome and dashing, with sharp yet understated sword-like eyebrows, making him seem like a gentle gentleman.

"Of course, Mei, you have to believe me," Lucas said with a smile.

Although he had said this many times to Raiden Mei, he could still say it with full confidence, leaving no room for fault-finding.

Upon receiving such an answer, Raiden Mei's heart fluttered.

This time, she said nothing more, only silently closed her eyes, tilting her delicate face slightly upwards, presenting a completely defenseless posture.

Her eyelashes were long and slender, her snowy cheeks flushed, her cherry lips inviting, and her breath carried a sweet scent.

Would Lucas hold back?

Of course not.

If he did nothing now, Raiden Mei was very likely to enter a berserk state.

Under the moonlight, the two embraced again.

Capturing her soft cherry lips, warm breaths brushed their faces, and soft moans followed.

After a long while, the two finally separated, panting.

Lucas looked at Raiden Mei, who was leaning against him like a small bird, and said, "Mei, can you do something for me next?"

"What is it?" Raiden Mei asked in a soft voice, no longer cold and crazy as before, as if she had returned to normal.

Of course, Lucas knew Raiden Mei hadn't returned to normal; it was just that after being confessed to and intimate with him, she appeared very normal for the time being.

Lucas smiled slightly.

"I need your help to make some late-night snacks."

"Make late-night snacks? Are you hungry?" Raiden Mei was a little confused.

Lucas casually made up a reason, "That's right, I'm hungry."

Lucas certainly wasn't making it for himself; having just restarted, he wasn't hungry now.

Asking the Cook to make late-night snacks was entirely for the purpose of conquering Kiana.

This matter could not be revealed.

Raiden Mei would get jealous if she knew, and she would go berserk when jealous.

Lucas could only use a benevolent lie to deceive the Cook.

"I see. Then let's go to the Faculty Dormitory together. You can eat the late-night snacks once they're ready."

Raiden Mei took the man's hand and walked off.

Lucas shook his head and refused, "No need, Mei. Just make the late-night snacks, pack them, and leave them downstairs. I'll come get them myself later."

"Why? Don't you want to eat them while they're hot? I still want to spend more time with you; it's so rare for us to meet…"

Raiden Mei's expression visibly darkened.

Lucas had long anticipated this.

"The late-night snacks Mei makes are delicious even when cold. Besides… we have a lot of time, there's no need to rush this moment."

"Don't you trust me, Mei?"

The Cook's eyes flickered with confusion again, and she said, "I… I trust you."

"Then hurry up, don't make me wait too long, Mei."

After a few comforting words, he sent her off.

Watching Raiden Mei, dressed in a white dress, walk away, Lucas quietly gazed until she completely disappeared from his sight, then slowly exhaled.

Being with a Valkyrie was like being with a tiger.

This statement was not false.

If Lucas had not watched Raiden Mei leave his sight… and had just walked away directly, she might have secretly followed him for a sneak attack.

Only when he confirmed the Valkyrie was far away could he relax.

"Once I get the late-night snacks Mei made, I can go after Kiana tomorrow morning.

As for the time after that…" Lucas's eyes narrowed slightly.

To deal with Kiana, he had to use the late-night snacks Raiden Mei made, or rather, her cooking, to calm her down.
