Chapter 84 - Ch.84

Support card story...

When Luo Cheng realized what the message meant, he turned to the hallway, but his colleagues were all gone. He returned to his room, where Tokai Teio was lounging on the bed. "Trainer, what are you doing?" she asked, a bit peeved. She had gone to the trouble of getting all clean and ready for him, and he was still messing around outside.

"Teio, did you win the Master's Cup race?"

"Master's Cup? What are you talking about, Trainer?"

"...Never mind."

This wasn't the real world; it was a support card story. The horse girls were still horse girls, but they weren't the ones Luo Cheng knew. The Tokai Teio in front of him was a brand new one.

"By the way, how did you get in here?"

"The Trainer promised he'd take me out tomorrow, and I said we might as well sleep together tonight, and you agreed. What's wrong, are you going back on your word?" Tokai Teio pouted.

"So that's the setup."

Luo Cheng took off his clothes and lay on the bed. Tokai Teio, wearing a white pajama dress, giggled. She snuggled under the blanket and rested against him. "Don't forget to help me get the high score tomorrow."

At least that part was the same; Luo Cheng had promised to take her to the arcade.

He found it strange that a character couldn't trigger their own support card story. His cultivated character could only interact with other characters. Yet, he could trigger the support card story of the horse girl he was currently raising.

How weird.

Luo Cheng reached out and stroked the head of Tokai Teio, who was blinking her big eyes at him. It didn't matter which world's horse girl it was—the real world or the support card world—they were all extensions of the game world. Their stats and statuses were the same. The only difference was their experiences.

I wonder what this world's Teio has been through?

"Trainer..." Tokai Teio's eyes narrowed. She leaned in, tilting her head up and puckering her pink lips.

She's pretty much the same as the original. No matter which Teio it was, she was just as clingy.

Luo Cheng wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her. After a moment of sweetness, Tokai Teio's face was flushed, and a childish smile appeared on her lips. "The Trainer kissed me. You're so lewd~"

"After what we just did, you're calling me lewd?"

"I want to argue, but I can't find an excuse," Luo Cheng said.

"Hehe... then I guess you can't help it." Tokai Teio stretched out her smooth, fair legs and gently rubbed them against Luo Cheng. "These are my precious legs, and I'm letting you have them this time. You'd better be grateful, you lewd Trainer~"

The next day, the weather outside was clear. Luo Cheng remembered the last time he entered a support card story, it had rained the whole time, and he had gotten soaked and sick for three days. That was the day he started his workout routine. His body was a lot stronger now. He felt like he would be able to surpass the horse girls soon.

"Grumble~ Trainer..." Tokai Teio made a sound like a kitten. She was hugging Luo Cheng's arm, holding it between her legs. Her smooth, round shoulders glistened with a light sheen, and the pink ribbon she used to tie her hair was gone, leaving her long hair loose.

Seeing Teio, who looked like a sweet treat, Luo Cheng moved his body and pulled his hand out. The slight friction made Teio instinctively shiver.

She opened her eyes and saw Luo Cheng beside her. Her face instantly turned bright red. She pulled the blanket up to cover her face, but then was hit with a strong scent.

Trainer... How are you so experienced?! Although Teio couldn't see her own face, she could tell that at one point, her eyes had almost rolled into the back of her head.

"I'll go make breakfast," Luo Cheng said with a yawn.

"Mmm."

Seeing the red scratch marks on Luo Cheng's back, Tokai Teio shyly averted her gaze. I was a little too rough... But those marks gave Tokai Teio a strange sense of accomplishment. She felt like the Trainer had become hers.

"I'm going to take a shower, Trainer," Tokai Teio said, hearing the sound of cooking from the kitchen. Her chest and armpits felt sticky, and her body had a faint smell. Tokai Teio got out of bed and, seeing Luo Cheng's jacket nearby, she put it on.

"The Trainer's scent..." After smelling the jacket's collar for a moment, Tokai Teio went to the bathroom, still wanting more.

When she came out of the shower, Luo Cheng had already prepared breakfast.

"Hmm? Trainer, your cooking skills have gotten much better."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, it's delicious!"

The Trainer is becoming more and more like a perfect wife. She imagined a future where she would win prize money from races while the Trainer stayed home doing housework. When they had time, they could go out and have fun together, and then have some lovey-dovey time at night. It was the perfect life. Just imagining the Trainer opening the door to greet her made her heart flutter. She excitedly bit down on her chopsticks.

"It seems the Trainer has a knack for being a housewife."

"Huh?" Luo Cheng had no idea what Teio was thinking.

After breakfast, Luo Cheng prepared to follow the day's story, and also to go out and buy some items. Items from support card stories could also be brought into the game world. This time, Luo Cheng planned to buy a lot of medicine. The amount of medicine needed to cure a severely injured horse girl was massive, five to ten times the normal amount. But being able to cure them instantly was worth the cost.

When they went outside, Tokai Teio said she was going back to change, so Luo Cheng waited in the plaza in front of the school building.

It's so quiet...

There wasn't a single person in the school. Not even a horse girl was training on the field. Usually, Tracen was bustling with students at this time. But now, he couldn't even see a single person. Not just Tracen, but he couldn't see any pedestrians outside either. It was as if the whole world had been reduced to just him.

Why is this support card story so bizarre? The Manhattan Cafe one at least had a bunch of background characters.

Just as Luo Cheng was starting to feel anxious, Tokai Teio ran out. She was wearing a yellow off-the-shoulder top and blue hot pants, and she skipped over to Luo Cheng. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Trainer." She grabbed Luo Cheng's hand. "Let's go... Trainer?"

Tokai Teio noticed that Luo Cheng's eyes looked off. There was a strong sense of unease in them.

"Yeah, let's go," Luo Cheng said, tightening his grip on her hand.

Feeling the man's strength, Tokai Teio leaned against him. "Hehe~ It looks like my great Trainer can't be without me! I can't help it; my great Teio will always be by your side."
