Chapter 3 - The Power of Cosmo

"Themyscira is private property and does not welcome any humans!" With Hippolyta's command, two swords were placed at Badr's neck.

Diana's face was anxious. She was the one who had pulled Badr out of the sea. She hadn't expected her people to react this way. How many years had it been since an outsider appeared? Were they to remain isolated forever? Moreover, Badr was just an ordinary person; what kind of harm could he pose?

Before Diana could plead, Badr spoke first: "Is this your way of hospitality?"

Having awakened his Sixth Sense, how could Badr fear ordinary swords? He lightly flicked his right hand twice, leaving two afterimages. A Saint who has awakened the Sixth Sense can already punch at the speed of sound.

With two clear ringing sounds, in the incredulous eyes of everyone present, the two swords at his neck instantly turned into white dust, dissipating in the sea breeze.

The essence of destruction is to pulverize atoms. A Saint can pulverize the atoms that make up all matter. This is the most basic part of becoming a Saint. If one cannot pulverize atoms, and only possesses superficial destructive power, then one can only be a mere foot soldier. After all, this is only the most basic ability of Cosmo.

But for the average Amazonian warrior, this was too astonishing! This man, in just an instant, had crushed weapons forged from fine steel into dust? Was such a feat even possible?

Even Diana stared at Badr in surprise. She had no idea that Badr possessed such strength. When she rescued the drowning Badr from the sea, she thought he was just an ordinary man! But if Badr had this kind of strength, how could he have been drowning? For a moment, Diana was a bit confused. She could be sure that Badr had indeed been in mortal danger not long ago; it couldn't have been an act.

"Badr, he's really a bit mysterious!"

Hippolyta's pupils contracted. The Queen clearly hadn't expected Badr to possess considerable strength, and her tone became even more stern. "Outsider, who exactly are you, and what is your identity?"

"Turns out putting on airs is so tiring! Must maintain dignity, mustn't laugh, mustn't give it away!" Badr looked around, noticing that all the Amazonian warriors were awed, and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. This was his first time using the power of Cosmo, and also his first time showing off in front of so many women. If he failed, he'd probably want to dig a hole and crawl into it.

Badr adjusted his composure, speaking with forceful emphasis: "Badr, a Saint of Athena, who guards the Goddess of War and Wisdom."

After speaking, Badr immediately regretted it: "Aaaaaah! What am I even saying?! I'm ready to die! What's wrong with me! It's not that I'm embarrassed... it's, I just want to die!"

Completely unlike Badr's feelings, if Badr breaking the swords was shocking, this sentence was comparable to the power of a nuclear explosion!

"Athena?!"

All the Amazonian warriors present became restless. Even Queen Hippolyta couldn't remain calm, her eyes wide, staring intently at Badr! The other party's reaction was beyond Badr's expectation, hitting the mark perfectly, with outstanding results!

"Congratulations, Master, Wonder Woman Diana's favorability towards you has increased by 5 points. Current favorability: 15!"

Badr thought to himself, "So tiring, but it seems I succeeded!"

The name Athena was so shocking because it related to the origin of the Amazonian race. The Amazonian race was created by the ancient Greek goddesses in 1200 BC using the souls of women killed by men. At the beginning of their creation, the goddesses used the soul of the first woman killed to create the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. And among the five goddesses who created the Amazonian race, one was the Goddess of War and Wisdom, Athena.

Being associated with Athena meant they had to be careful. Hippolyta searched through her memories. As the Goddess of War, Athena commanded dozens of elite armies. Was there indeed a personal guard unit among them called "Saint"? If he was truly Athena's personal guard, then this Saint would be a rare and distinguished guest! Hippolyta couldn't be sure. Her face momentarily dimmed, knowing that it was now an era of divine disappearance, and it was impossible to verify.

Fortunately, there was the Lasso of Truth. This artifact was considered unbreakable; anyone bound by it could only speak the truth. Hippolyta's tone softened, but she spoke more cautiously, "Human, you should know what you are saying. If you lie, it is an act of sacrilege!" Hippolyta took a golden rope from her waist and casually threw it forward, wrapping it around Badr's wrist.

Badr rolled his eyes. He had been expecting this move, but he was still a little nervous: "This time, no messing around, must stay calm!"
