From what Haruto knew of Chisato Hasegawa, revealing her identity probably wouldn't be life-threatening, but it would definitely put her on high alert.
If he wanted to get closer to her later or pursue her, the difficulty would increase dramatically.
Chisato's appearance once again reshaped his understanding of this chaotic world.
At the same time, his recently inflated ego from gaining power quietly returned to a more cautious state.
While ordinary delinquents no longer posed much threat to him, when it came to pursuing an actual goddess like Chisato Hasegawa, his current strength was completely inadequate.
...
After confirming Chisato's identity, Haruto ruled out any connection between her and Sakura Miyajima's transfer.
At least that was one useful takeaway...
Watching Chisato work diligently at her desk, Haruto's thoughts began to wander uncontrollably.
He wondered where Mio Naruse, the daughter of the former Demon Lord, was now.
Come to think of it, were the demon realms from these two different worlds actually the same here?
Rias's brother and Sona Sitri's sister were both among the current Four Great Satans. If Mio Naruse's father had also been one of the Demon Lords, would they know each other?
Wait, no...
Haruto remembered that Mio didn't know about her heritage until her adoptive parents were killed and that ridiculously strong loli succubus came for her.
The more he thought about it, the more confused he became.
When watching the anime, his attention had been completely captured by the milky-white cleavage, long legs, and sexy outfits—he'd never paid much attention to the original power structures of these worlds.
Now with everything mixed together, Haruto felt even more lost.
After staring blankly at the ceiling for a while, he relaxed completely and decided to stop overthinking it.
His random speculations were pointless—if he really wanted to know, he might as well just ask Rias directly.
If he was feeling particularly bold, he could even ask Chisato herself, one of the Ten Chief Gods.
There might be things Rias hadn't been exposed to yet, but that would never be the case for Chisato.
Whether in terms of power or status, Chisato stood at the absolute peak.
There was nothing she couldn't access—only things she chose not to.
However, Haruto ultimately decided not to ask. Even if he got an answer, it wouldn't help his current situation in the slightest.
Rather than being curious about those important figures, he should focus on accelerating his own growth.
He was only B-rank, with A-rank, S-rank, and Satan-rank still ahead of him.
Beyond Satan-rank, there were even stronger tiers.
Haruto didn't know the specifics, but he remembered that in the later stages, Satan-rank wouldn't even count as elite.
"Ding ling ling! Ding ling ling!"
The school bell rang, snapping Haruto out of his daze.
Seeing that Chisato truly had no intention of pressing further, a weight in his heart was temporarily lifted.
Haruto got off the bed and walked over to Chisato.
Gazing at her delicate face and alluring figure, his eyes burned with intensity.
"Hasegawa-sensei, I'm feeling better now."
"Good, be careful on your way back."
Chisato smiled faintly, ignoring Haruto's heated gaze, and advised him like any ordinary teacher would: "If you feel unwell anywhere, come back immediately."
Haruto nodded, pausing for a moment to admire the captivating glimpse of spring scenery beneath Chisato's skirt.
Before leaving, he kindly reminded her, "Hasegawa-sensei, next time, remember not to cross your legs so high."
Chisato froze for a second before calmly lowering her long legs.
She had only recently taken on the appearance of an ordinary human, and some details still slipped her mind inadvertently.
Fortunately, there were usually many students around, so to maintain her teacher's image, she always sat or stood properly.
Aside from Haruto, who skipped class to laze around here, no one else had seen it.
Strangely, Chisato didn't feel angry at the thought of Haruto peeking under her skirt—just a slight, flustered annoyance.
He could have told her earlier, but instead, he waited until he'd had his fill before mentioning it as he left.
"What an interesting little guy..."
Watching Haruto's retreating figure, Chisato's lips curled slightly, her expression one of piqued curiosity.
No one but herself knew that she had completely sealed her power and secretly come to the human world.
Yet Haruto had seen through her true identity at a glance, his eyes filled with inexplicable admiration, passion, and familiarity.
Even after being intimidated by her aura, the fire in his gaze hadn't dimmed—instead, it became even more blatant and earnest.
Where on earth did this little guy get such nerve...?
After leaving the infirmary, Haruto headed straight to the faculty office.
Since he had no better options for now, he might as well ask the teacher in charge of Sakura Miyajima directly.
Knock knock!
"Come in."
"Excuse me, is Sato-sensei here?"
"Sato-sensei, a student is here to see you."
A moment later, a bespectacled woman in a black office suit approached Haruto.
She was fairly cute with a decent figure, but in Haruto's eyes—still dazzled by Chisato Hasegawa's beauty—she seemed merely average.
Yumi Sato looked at the handsome young boy before her and asked curiously, "That's me. What can I do for you?"
After scrutinizing her carefully to confirm she wasn't some unlucky eroge teacher, Haruto finally spoke.
"Sato-sensei, do you know where Sakura Miyajima transferred to?"
"Oh, this again..."
Sato Yumi muttered under her breath, "I thought today would finally be the day I could have a forbidden romance with a student..."
Haruto raised an eyebrow, ignoring the latter part of Sato Yumi's statement, and asked, "Again? Who else has been asking Sato-sensei about this?"
"Oh dear, did you hear that?" Sato Yumi's face turned red. "I was just joking..."
"I have no interest in your... preferences, sensei. And I won't go spreading it around either."
Haruto waved his hand to interrupt her explanation. "So, can you answer my question now?"
"What a clueless and rude little hottie..."
Sato Yumi couldn't help but mutter under her breath, clearly annoyed.
Haruto rolled his eyes, unsure whether Sato Yumi genuinely had a habit of talking to herself or if she was doing it on purpose to mess with him.
"Ahem!"
"Alright, alright."
Sato Yumi stopped her muttering and sighed. "Because Sakura transferred in a hurry, she didn't get to say goodbye to anyone. Some of her close friends came to me asking about it."
"Who exactly?"
"Mostly her good friends, classmates, or people from the kendo club."
Sato Yumi shot Haruto a glance and snorted. "And then there's a small portion like you—people who admire her."
Sakura Miyajima was quite popular at Kuoh Academy. Though she couldn't compare to Rias or Akeno, her reputation as a genius kendo beauty still drew a lot of attention.
Haruto didn't bother correcting the misunderstanding that he admired Sakura.
What he wanted to do wasn't all that different from pursuing her anyway.
"I see. Then, do you know where she transferred to, Sato-sensei?"
"Of course I know."
Before Haruto could press further, Sato Yumi added, "But I can't tell you. School rules. If you really want to know, go ask the Miyajima family yourself."
"Then could you at least give me Sakura's home address?"
Haruto blinked. Rather than finding out which school Sakura had transferred to, he'd always preferred going straight to her house.
Transferring schools wasn't something Sakura could decide alone—her parents were the key players.
And besides... he also wanted to meet Sakura's mother.
Sato Yumi gave him a strange look. "You admire her, yet you don't even know where she lives?"
"Huh? Is her address that easy to find out?"
"The Miyajimas run a well-known kendo dojo with plenty of students. Anyone could tell you if you just asked around."
Faced with Sato Yumi's suspicious gaze, Haruto shrugged. "In that case, just tell me directly, Sato-sensei. Saves me the trouble of asking others."
After a moment's thought, Sato Yumi decided it wasn't confidential information and gave Haruto the name and location of the Miyajima family dojo.
"Thanks, Sato-sensei."
Haruto waved cheerfully. Sometimes being straightforward worked out just fine.
If he'd known it would be this easy, he wouldn't have overthought it. At least it wasn't too late now.
"Oh, right." After taking a few steps, Haruto turned back and flashed Sato Yumi a bright smile. "If you really do want a forbidden romance, I'd be happy to help~"
