Emily's eyes slowly opened, finding herself in a room she'd never seen before. The walls were cold and gray, and the air was thick with an eerie silence. She tried to remember how she got there, but her memories were hazy.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and a figure loomed in the shadows. Emily's heart raced as the figure stepped closer, its features still hidden.
"Welcome, Emily," a low voice whispered. "You've been chosen."
Emily's skin crawled as the figure reached out with a bony hand. She tried to scream, but her voice was trapped in her throat.
The figure's grip was icy cold as it pulled her out of the room. Emily stumbled, her eyes fixed on the darkness that seemed to swallow everything.
