Chapter 190 - Dominic vs. Dougan

Dominic's fist smashed fiercely into Daegon's face. The wild power caused Daegon's head to snap back, and the sound of bones shattering echoed in the air. Daegon's body slammed into the metal wall behind him, which dented on Impact, sending fragments flying. Dominic stood coldly in place, his fists lightly steaming, a hint of mocking smile playing on his lips: "Is this the so-called power of the successor? It seems I was expecting a little too much."

Daegon slowly straightened up, the lacerations on his face beginning to heal slowly. He reached up to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth and chuckled low: "You are strong. Strong enough to excite me a little. Unfortunately, being strong doesn't make you a hunter, and the final prey is still you."

"Prey?" Dominic snorted coldly, narrowing his eyes. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles cracking crisply. "Saying such things in front of me, are you tired of living?"

Daegon's smile became even more twisted. He didn't answer, charging directly at Dominic with lightning speed. Their fists and feet clashed, each Impact generating a shockwave. Daegon's strength was indeed extraordinary; every blow carried a wild momentum, attempting to overwhelm his opponent. But Dominic moved with ease, accurately blocking and counterattacking. Each of his punches was like thunder, forcing Daegon to retreat repeatedly.

"Is this how you hunt? Like a reckless Beast—no, even Beasts are smarter than you." Dominic's low voice was full of mockery. He then delivered a fierce elbow strike to Daegon's chest, sending him flying backward and crashing into a distant stone pillar.

Daegon gasped for breath, getting up from the pile of stones. A smile of excitement still hung on his lips: "That's right! The more savage, the more painful the prey, the more it fuels my desire. Come on, don't disappoint me!" His hands suddenly began to flicker with dark red energy. His entire body gradually became covered in strange patterns, and his power instantly surged.

"Whoa, that's a bit interesting." Dominic took a slight step back, stretched his neck, producing a cracking sound. "Are you trying to scare me? Hahaha, don't you know that fear only heightens my pleasure?"

Daegon's roar was like a wild Beast. His speed and strength nearly doubled in this second form. He flashed to Dominic's side at an incredible angle, seizing the opportunity to strike Dominic's waist fiercely. The powerful Impact made Dominic's body bend slightly, followed by an uppercut aimed at his jaw. Dominic was sent flying several meters, leaving a long skid mark on the ground when he landed.

Dominic slowly stood up, raising a hand to touch his jaw. There wasn't a hint of anger in his expression; instead, a playful smile appeared: "Not bad, you finally made me feel a little pressure. But you're still far from enough. Let me teach you what true power is."

His eyes suddenly flickered with crimson light. A beam of scorching energy shockwave shot out instantly, hitting Daegon's shoulder directly. Daegon roared in pain, his entire arm charred black by the heat rays, but he laughed wildly as if feeling no pain at all: "Now that's more like it! Again! Let me feel more pain!"

Dominic leaped abruptly, his fist smashing directly into Daegon's chest. The collision between the two created a violent explosion. Although Daegon was strong, under Dominic's relentless assault, his body had suffered multiple tearing wounds, and blood splattered everywhere. However, his smile became even more insane: "More! Again! I haven't had enough yet!"

"You are truly a lunatic." Dominic said coldly, raising his hand for another heat ray. But this time, Daegon endured the energy Impact head-on, grabbing Dominic's shoulders tightly with both hands and slamming him fiercely into the ground. The ground instantly cracked into a deep pit, sending gravel flying.

Daegon stood at the edge of the pit, looking down at Dominic: "Aren't you invincible? Get up! Continue letting me enjoy the thrill of this hunt!" His voice was full of ecstasy, as if every attack deepened his craving for battle.

Dominic stood up from the deep pit, stretched his shoulders, and a cold smile appeared on his lips: "You are indeed crazy, but madness can never defeat power. Let me tell you, a true hunter doesn't give their prey a chance to breathe." Before his words finished, he instantly charged at Daegon, his fists raining down like a storm. Each blow carried World-shaking power.

Daegon attempted to counterattack, but Dominic's speed and power combined flawlessly, leaving him with no means to resist. Every attempt at resistance was suppressed by Dominic's faster and more precise attacks.

"Pain is your pleasure, right?" Dominic closed in on Daegon after a fierce collision and said in a low voice, "Then I'll make you hurt beyond your limit, until you beg for it to end." He sent Daegon flying with a heavy blow, then leaped up abruptly, raised his clasped fists high, and smashed them down fiercely onto the fallen Daegon.

The ground split open with a roar under the Impact, and smoke and dust billowed everywhere. Daegon's body was deeply embedded in the ground, his breathing weak and ragged. Dominic stood before him, looking down and sneering coldly: "Your so-called power is nothing more than this."

Dominic stood in Daegon's reflection and said coldly, "The attacks you inflicted on me, they disappointed me." There was no hint of mockery in his tone, only bone-chilling disappointment.

Daegon's body, deeply embedded in the ground, trembled slightly, as if forcing itself to struggle again. His hands pressed against the cracked ground, blood dripping from his fingertips, but his laughter gradually grew louder: "Disappointed? Hahaha, it seems you expected too much of yourself. Don't forget, I'm not dead yet. And, I never disappoint my prey."

As soon as he finished speaking, the wounds on the surface of his body began to heal rapidly, and the dark red energy from before enveloped him once more. This time the energy was even more intense, even carrying a hint of crimson flicker. His body instantly swelled, his muscles like taut steel cables, and the bulging veins like living venomous snakes, a sickening sight.

"Oh, a second form? Are you planning to save face with this little trick?" Dominic raised an eyebrow dismissively. He made no move to retreat; instead, he took a step forward, his oppressive aura enveloping Daegon like a tangible force.

Daegon's body suddenly surged up. His hands, carrying destructive power, smashed fiercely towards Dominic's head. Dominic raised his hands to catch them. The ground collapsed over a large area due to the Impact of this force, and rubble and rising dust obscured the sky. Dominic's body didn't move an inch, but a cold smile appeared on his lips: "Only this much power?"

With a forceful twist of his hands, Dominic made Daegon roar in pain, but he twisted his body free with sheer effort and attacked Dominic fiercely again. Every one of his blows carried wild power and an oppressive feeling; the force of his fists even tore through the air. Dominic remained as steady as a rock, his movements precise and unhurried, as if playing with a naughty child.

Daegon's attacks became increasingly ferocious. His fists rained down on Dominic like a storm, but each blow was easily neutralized by his opponent. His patience gradually wore thin, and anger completely consumed his mind. He leaped up abruptly, gathering all his energy into his fists, and smashed down towards Dominic like a falling meteor.

Dominic looked up at this scene, sneering as he murmured, "A mere clown." He raised his hand and shot out two heat rays, hitting Daegon's shoulders precisely and knocking him out of the air. Daegon's body crashed heavily onto the ground, creating a massive crater and sending dust flying.

"You disappoint me greatly." Dominic slowly walked towards Daegon, each step like a heavy hammer striking the other's spirit. "If this is your limit, then stop wasting my time."

Daegon's body struggled up again, his eyes filled with madness: "Limit? No, I never surrender to limits!" He roared wildly, the energy within him like an erupting volcano. His body instantly became even more hideous and terrifying, and the fluctuations of his power even made the ground tremble.

"Very good." Dominic stopped, a smile appearing on his face. "If you still have this much energy left, then let me feel your worth a little more." His voice was low and dangerous, like a hungry wolf eyeing its final prey.

Daegon's power surged. His attacks became even more savage, as if wanting to tear everything apart. But Dominic seemed to be completely enraged. His speed suddenly increased, and the force of his punches carried the might of wind and thunder. He smashed his fist fiercely into Daegon's chest, sending him flying dozens of meters away. Daegon crashed through three walls before finally collapsing in a pile of ruins.

Dominic slowly walked closer, the smile on his face gradually turning maniacal: "You don't understand what true power is. Your so-called rage is merely the instinct of a lower creature, while power belongs only to those who can wield it." His fists ignited with crimson light once more. The next moment, his figure shot towards Daegon like a meteor, instantly unleashing a wave of destructive Impact.

Daegon's body completely collapsed before this power. He could no longer stand; all his arrogance and confidence were shattered. His eyes were fixed on Dominic, his voice trembling for the first time: "You... what kind of monster are you?"

Dominic looked down at him, the red light in his eyes still dazzling. He said coldly, "I am the fear you can never reach, the ultimate target you foolishly tried to hunt. Remember this feeling. Next time you are reborn, don't provoke me again."

Before his words finished, he kicked Daegon's body away until it disappeared from sight. Only Dominic's indifferent voice remained in the air, echoing across the ruined battlefield: "Power is not a tool for showing off, but a sharp weapon to change the World. Foolish hunter, don't waste your life on the wrong target again."

Dominic glanced at the others still locked in fierce combat, his gaze cold but carrying a hint of disdain. Only Logan leaned against a broken wall nearby, a newly lit cigar in his mouth, leisurely exhaling a puff of smoke. Dominic walked a few steps closer and sneered, "Are you here to help, or to enjoy some post-battle relaxation?" Logan raised an eyebrow and exhaled, saying, "There's no need to rush into battle, especially when the cigar tastes this good."
