Chapter 119 - Kratos's Fight - Fist to Fist

The moment the name Kratos echoed through the ruins of Washington District, the universal scepter in Zeus's hand suddenly trembled violently.

The King of Gods' White beard moved without wind, and he felt a shiver from the depths of his soul; his divine power trembled.

They all feared, like a long time ago, when he was young and faced Cronos's power, the fear in his heart.

"Impossible..." Zeus's voice wavered. The King of Gods had ruled Olympus for many years, and he now firmly believed that even if he faced his own father, Cronos, he would not be afraid, and could even kill Cronos.

But at this moment, facing Kratos, who stood on the ground, looking up at him, he was afraid.

He stared intently at the gray-skinned man, his eyes reflecting the terrifying scenes constantly replaying in the bloody flames: the collapsing Pantheon, the broken Mount Olympus, and... the torn bodies of gods.

"Zeus, I am tired of war. I can give you a chance, leave, or," The blood flames on Kratos's body began to boil.

His deep voice struck Zeus's heart heavily.

"Die."

The moment the word 'Death' fell, the entire sky suddenly collapsed.

Zeus's pupils burst into countless golden lightning snakes, and the universal scepter erupted with a shriek that shattered the clouds.

Hundreds of golden lightning bolts, like divine punishment spears, pierced through heaven and earth, and the remnants of the monument vaporized in the lightning.

The ground where Kratos stood instantly turned into a lava pool, but he had already leaped into the air, his Axe drawing a crimson Arc Light as it cleaved towards Zeus's face.

"Bang!"

The Impact of the scepter colliding with the Axe stirred up a hundred-meter-high lava surge.

Zeus's White beard burned with bloody flames, and his right fist, condensing lightning powerful enough to shatter a Titan, smashed towards Kratos's abdomen.

The God of War spewed blood as he flew backward, carving a thousand-meter-long gully in the ground before stopping.

Two burning chains suddenly shot out from the dust, wrapping around Zeus's legs and pulling hard.

As the King of Gods staggered, Kratos had already rushed over like a bloody meteor, his Axe blade deeply cutting into Zeus's right shoulder.

Golden divine blood gushed like lava, scorching half of Kratos's face.

Kratos's face was no longer as calm as Water as before; instead, his eyes were wide, and fanaticism surged onto his face.

"Ah!" He let out a roar, his head thrown back, and slammed hard into Zeus's nose.

Zeus's nose bridge was directly broken by Kratos's blow. At this moment, his face was also ferocious. He hadn't expected Kratos to injure him with only physical damage.

Zeus roared, grabbing the Axe, and the thunderstorm erupting around him blasted both of them away.

Kratos crashed into a subway tunnel, while Zeus smashed through the memorial hall.

When the dust settled, Zeus flew out of the memorial hall and saw Kratos with his forehead covered in a mix of red and gold blood. He pushed aside a large rock and walked out of the ruins.

The two stared at each other across a thousand meters of ruins. The fear and anger in Zeus's heart did not dissipate; instead, they intensified.

He roared, raising his scepter, and a massive thunderstorm gathered into a ball at the scepter's tip.

Kratos didn't wait for the lightning ball to fully form. He gripped his right hand, and the Draupnir Spear appeared in his hand.

"Zeus!!!!" Kratos roared.

The Draupnir Spear tore through the air, trailing a bloody tail flame, and pierced straight towards Zeus's throat.

The King of Gods hastily turned his head. The spear tip grazed his neck, drawing a spray of golden blood, and without losing momentum, it pierced through the ruins of three skyscrapers behind him. The building debris cascaded down like a waterfall, completely collapsing.

Kratos's act of throwing the spear slowed Zeus's lightning ball condensation by a few points. Kratos, taking advantage of Zeus's momentary dodge, suddenly flung out the chaos blades, wrapping them around Zeus's ankle.

"Ah!!"

Kratos roared again, gripping the chains tightly with both hands and swinging them violently, causing Zeus's body to be uncontrollably pulled.

He was slammed heavily into the ground by Kratos, and the chaos flames, along with the molten lava, erupted, engulfing Zeus's body.

"Ah!!!" Zeus's screams roared in the molten lava. The God-slaying power contained within the chaos flames caused Zeus immense pain.

He once again erupted with golden lightning all over his body, pushing away the lava and flames. But before he could transform into lightning and escape Kratos's chained blades, he saw a bloody Shadow already lunging at him.

"Go! And! Die!"

Kratos mounted Zeus's body, his fists enveloped in blood flames, and heavily pummeled Zeus's head.

Kratos's fists rained down like meteorites, each blow sinking Zeus's head deeper into the scorched earth.

Golden divine blood mixed with shattered stones splattered, and Zeus's roars were intermittently distorted by the force of the punches.

The King of Gods' broken lips writhed, uttering an ancient divine spell, and the sky suddenly split open into a deep abyss.

"Boom—!"

The Olympus Holy Fire poured down, engulfing both of them.

Kratos's skin was scorched by the divine Fire, yet he still held Zeus's throat in a Death grip.

Zeus seized the opportunity to grab the Spartan's wrist, and lightning exploded along his bloodstream, instantly rendering Kratos's left arm bloody and mangled.

Kratos, seemingly feeling no pain, once again threw his head back and slammed it hard into Zeus's forehead. Scarlet blood and golden divine blood erupted between their heads.

"You mad dog!"

Zeus roared, and his body once again erupted with massive lightning, separating the two of them.

Zeus took this opportunity to transform into lightning and continuously retreated, stopping only after pulling several kilometers away. He clutched his broken nose bridge, his face now covered in golden divine blood.

He was panting. He never imagined that the primitive fighting style he once disdained would make him so disheveled. The key was that his own lightning and divine Fire seemed unable to stop the man named Kratos.

"Zeus!!!" Kratos's voice came from several kilometers away.

In Zeus's vision, Kratos, again wrapped in bloody flames, rapidly charged towards him.

"Damn it! You're looking for Death!"

Zeus roared in anger, lightning gathering at the tip of his scepter, and he unleashed a massive lightning Impact towards Kratos.

Kratos did not dodge; instead, he shook his left hand, and a shield appeared on his arm guard. He held up the shield, blocking the Impact.

"Death can take me, as long as she can take me!"

Kratos's voice tore through the roar of the thunder.

His shield trembled violently under the golden Impact, its surface already cracked, but he still charged forward, each step leaving burning footprints on the scorched earth.

Zeus's pupils contracted—this madman was actually advancing against the King of Gods' lightning!

The residual power of the Impact completely leveled the surrounding surviving buildings, and deep gullies were plowed into the ground, but Kratos was still closing in.

"Impossible—!" Zeus roared, the scepter's light growing more intense, the torrent of lightning almost swallowing everything.

However, in the very next instant, Kratos suddenly turned sideways, his shield exploding into fragments under the extreme Impact.

He used the residual force of the Impact to spin and break free from the lightning's lock. The muscles in his right arm bulged, the Leviathan Axe was raised high, and the runes on the Axe blade suddenly glowed with a crimson light.

"Die!!!"

The Axe chopped down. Zeus hastily raised his arm to block, but the Axe blade still cut into his left shoulder, and golden divine blood gushed out.

Zeus roared in pain, sweeping his scepter horizontally, and lightning exploded, forcing Kratos back several steps.

But Kratos gave him no chance to breathe. Before he could retract his Axe, he flung out the chaos blades with his left hand, wrapping them around Zeus's left hand, and yanked hard, his knee slamming violently into the King of Gods' face.

"Bang!"

Zeus's already broken nose bridge completely collapsed, and blood splattered.

He staggered backward, the anger in his eyes beginning to recede, replaced only by fear—Kratos's fighting style was barbaric, primitive, yet precisely lethal. Every blow went straight for the vital points, without any frills, only pure killing intent.

Zeus roared, smashing his scepter into the ground. The entire earth cracked under the lightning, and countless electrical snakes shot out from underground, attempting to tear Kratos apart.

But Kratos had already leaped up, extending his right hand forward, recalling the Axe from Zeus's shoulder. He raised the Axe high and chopped down again. Zeus barely dodged, the Axe blade grazing his chest, leaving a wound deep enough to expose bone.

"Enough!!!"

Zeus roared, a dazzling lightning ball condensing at the tip of his scepter, which he violently smashed towards Kratos.

Kratos did not dodge; instead, he shook his left hand again, and a shield reappeared on his left arm. He held it in front of him again, charging towards the lightning ball.

The Impact of the explosion simultaneously sent both flying. Zeus crashed into a dilapidated tall building, while Kratos tumbled and slammed into the ground, his Axe flying out of his hand.

But he rolled a few times, using the residual momentum to firmly plant his feet on the ground. The chaos blades ignited with flames again, and the chains wrapped around Zeus like venomous snakes.

"You can't kill me!" Zeus hissed, swinging his scepter, and lightning collided with the chains, sparks flying.

"I have killed countless Gods! They all said the same thing!" Kratos growled, suddenly pulling the chains taut. Zeus was forcibly dragged towards Kratos, to be met by Kratos's oncoming heavy punch.

"Bang!"

Zeus's head snapped back violently, teeth flying, and golden divine blood splattered onto the scorched earth.

Kratos did not stop, his fists raining down like a storm, each blow accompanied by the dull thud of bones shattering.

Zeus finally realized—this was not a battle.

This was an execution.

"Save me... brother..."

Zeus's voice was as faint as a dying candle in the wind, and golden divine blood blurred his vision.

His scepter had long been discarded to the side, and the power of lightning gradually disintegrated under Kratos's furious punching.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Kratos's fists still did not stop, each blow driving Zeus's head deeper into the scorched earth. The King of Gods' crown had long since shattered, his White beard was soaked with blood, and his once majestic face now only held distorted pain.

"Your brother can't save you." Kratos roared, his hands gripping Zeus's throat, lifting him into the air. Zeus's legs hung limply, golden divine blood dripping from his toes.

Zeus's pupils trembled. He tried to struggle, but Kratos's fingers tightened like iron pincers, and the feeling of suffocation made his vision blur.

"Boom—!!!"

Suddenly, the entire earth trembled, and the sea surface of Washington District instantly boiled!

Endless waves surged skyward, and several warhorses, formed from seawater, neighed as they broke through the waves, pulling a chariot forged from coral and pearls.

Upon the chariot, Poseidon held his trident, sea-blue divine light surging around him.

"Zeus!" Poseidon roared, his trident suddenly striking the earth.

"Rumble—"

The entire battlefield was instantly swallowed by a tsunami. Towering waves crashed down like a sky curtain, completely separating Kratos and Zeus.

Kratos was pushed back several hundred meters by the raging Water flow, his feet plowing deep furrows in the mud before he barely managed to stop.

Poseidon's chariot descended beside Zeus. The Sea God grabbed Zeus's shoulder, pulling him onto the chariot. Zeus coughed violently, golden blood spilling from the corner of his mouth. His eyes were unfocused, and he still mumbled indistinct words.

"Kill...kill him..."

Poseidon's gaze turned to Kratos, cold fury burning in his eyes.

"Your arrogance ends here."

Kratos slowly straightened his body, the chains of the chaos blades wrapped around his wrists, and Fire reignited. There was no fear on his face, only an even more fervent will to fight.

"Another God come to die."

Poseidon sneered, and with a sudden swing of his trident, the power of the entire ocean gathered behind him, forming countless Water beasts that roared and charged at Kratos.

Kratos did not retreat but charged into the giant waves. The chains of the chaos blades tore through the seawater like venomous snakes. Fire and waves collided, evaporating into a sky-obscuring White mist.

"Boom—!"

The Leviathan Axe collided with the Water beasts. The Impact flattened the ruins within a radius of several kilometers. Kratos's figure flickered in and out of sight within the giant waves, but his roar was still clear—

"The end of Olympus is here!"

Kratos's roar pierced through the roar of the tsunami. His figure burst forth from the White mist, the chains of the chaos blades wrapped around the neck of a Water beast, and with a powerful pull—the beast's head was violently torn off, turning into a pouring rain.

Poseidon's trident stabbed forth. Kratos dodged sideways, his Leviathan Axe striking at the Sea God's wrist.

"Clang!" The moment the trident shaft blocked, Zeus suddenly leaped from the chariot, residual lightning gathering in his palm, blasting towards Kratos's back.

"Boom!"

Lightning exploded. Kratos spat out a mouthful of blood but used the momentum to charge forward, his forehead slamming hard into Poseidon's nose bridge.

"Crunch" A bone-breaking sound rang out. The Sea God staggered back, divine blood splashing onto the chariot.

"You dare—" Poseidon's roar abruptly cut off.

Kratos had already grabbed his beard. The Leviathan Axe swung horizontally. The Sea God quickly tilted his head back, but the axe blade still sliced off the flesh from his right cheek, pearl-like shattered teeth mixed with divine blood splattering.

Zeus seized the opportunity to pounce, his universal scepter stabbing towards Kratos's eye.

Kratos tilted his head. The tip of the universal scepter grazed his cheekbone, drawing a trail of blood.

He grabbed the universal scepter with his backhand, his right knee forcefully striking Zeus's abdomen. The moment the King of Gods bent over, Kratos raised his knee and slammed it into his face.

"Bang!"

Zeus fell backward, the back of his head creating a deep crater in the ground.

Poseidon's trident, however, had already stabbed into Kratos's ribs.

"Hiss!" The trident tip penetrated three inches into his flesh. Kratos grunted, his left hand grabbing the trident shaft, and he actually pushed Poseidon, running wildly.

"Stop! You madman!" Poseidon was horrified to find himself retreating.

The chariot was smashed to pieces. The two crashed through three ruined buildings, finally landing in a dry fountain pool.

Kratos pulled the trident from his ribs. As blood gushed, he raised it above his head.

"Your weapon, like your waves, is powerless." Kratos plunged the trident into Poseidon's chest, pinning him to the bottom of the pool.

Amidst the Sea God's screams, Zeus pounced from behind, his lightning-wreathed arms wrapping around Kratos's neck.

"Die! Spartan!" Zeus roared, unleashing all his divine power.

Lightning poured into Kratos's seven orifices. His eyeballs were filled with lightning, and his skin was charred inch by inch.

But those blood-stained hands slowly grasped Zeus's wrists.

"You...will never...learn..." Kratos squeezed out the words from his throat.

He suddenly lowered his head, his occiput shattering Zeus's teeth, then executed an over-the-shoulder throw, slamming the King of Gods onto Poseidon.

The fountain pool and the surrounding ground suddenly collapsed. The two Gods tumbled in the rubble.

Kratos staggered to his feet, his charred skin regenerating with creeping.

He reached out, and the Leviathan Axe flew into his hand. He walked towards the stacked brother Gods.

"It's time to end this."

Kratos raised the Leviathan Axe high. Poseidon suddenly surged up, his trident stabbing towards Kratos's heart.

The axe light flashed, and the Sea God's arm was severed at the shoulder.

Zeus took the opportunity to roll away, but then saw Kratos step on Poseidon's chest, gripping the Leviathan Axe with both hands—

"No!!" Zeus's scream and the dull thud of the axe blade entering flesh sounded simultaneously. Poseidon's head rolled to the edge of the pool, his eyes still frozen in disbelief.

The Sea God's body transformed into a pillar of Water that shot skyward. The ocean surged, stirring up gales and giant waves.

Zeus knelt on the ground, watching Kratos walk towards him with the Leviathan Axe. Kratos's red blood and the divine blood of the two Gods merged into a stream, like a path of God-slaying.

"Now." Kratos's blood-stained face was like that of a demon, "It's your turn, Zeus."

The sky began to rain, not ordinary rain, but crimson rain mixed with divine blood.

Zeus's eyes were filled with terror. This man would kill him, just as he killed Poseidon. He trembled all over. The King of Gods' majesty had vanished, leaving only a White-bearded old man covered in wounds in the blood rain.

Zeus transformed into golden lightning and shot skyward, the broken stone beneath his feet exploding into powder.

Kratos roared. The chains of the chaos blades had already wrapped around the King of Gods' ankle—

"Boom!"

The olympus divine sword, wrapped in blue divine flames, descended from the sky, piercing Zeus through the chest! Lightning and Fire exploded into a ten-thousand-meter light blast in the clouds.

"Ah—!!" Zeus's scream, mixed with the sound of the thunder, echoed through the sky.

He looked down at the burning divine sword in his chest. Golden divine blood sprayed along the blade, merging into the blood rain.

Kratos tightened the chains and pulled down sharply. Zeus crashed into the ground like a meteorite, creating a crater a hundred meters in diameter.

"Poseidon's blood hasn't even cooled, and you're already thinking of escaping? It seems that the Gods of Olympus in every World are cowards." Kratos stepped on Zeus's chest and pulled out the divine sword.

The blade scraping against bone made a teeth-grinding sound, and the blue flames illuminated his blood-stained face.

Zeus suddenly surged up, residual lightning condensing into a spear in his palm, stabbing towards Kratos's throat. Kratos tilted his head, the lightning spear grazing his neck, taking a piece of flesh with it. The dilapidated building behind him collapsed in the lightning.

"Bang!"

Kratos's fist smashed into Zeus's eye socket. Amidst the crisp sound of the King of Gods' skull caving in, the olympus divine sword pierced through his right shoulder, pinning him into a crack in the Earth's crust.

Magma gushed along the blade, scorching Zeus's shattered divine body.

"You mad dog...." Zeus's blood-stained teeth bit down on the blade, his hands gripping Kratos's wrists.

Lightning exploded along his blood vessels. Kratos's arms instantly burst open, but he shook off Zeus's hands, then gripped Zeus's throat, repeatedly smashing that head against the magma rock.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Each Impact triggered a small earthquake. Fragments of Zeus's crown embedded in his scalp, and his White beard was ignited by the magma. Kratos's blood-stained fist was raised high—

At this moment, Zeus's face was a bloody mess. He mumbled: "Spare...me..."

Kratos showed no mercy due to Zeus's plea, delivering a heavy punch to Zeus's forehead.

"Boom!"

The crater in the ground was enlarged again. Kratos stood with one foot on Zeus's chest, pulling out the olympus divine sword with both hands.

"King of the Gods..." The divine sword plunged violently into Zeus's chest and abdomen, "It's time to die."

Blue divine flames poured into Zeus's body along the blade. The King of Gods' screams were accompanied by a dazzling light blast. The surrounding buildings instantly vaporized, and the Impact sent distant ruined debris flying.

When the light dissipated, Kratos stood in the center of a two-kilometer-diameter vitrified giant crater.

He held Zeus's charred head in his hand, and the divine sword hummed and vibrated, resting on his shoulder.

Zeus's head turned into golden dust in Kratos's hand, scattering with the wind.

In an instant, the entire sky trembled violently, and the clouds churned like boiling steel.

Lightning surged wildly through the clouds, but it no longer held the power of thunder, only the twitching of a dying being. The Olympus sacred Fire poured down from the clouds, but extinguished into ash-gray smoke plumes midway.

A drop of rain fell on Kratos, not divine blood, but just ordinary rainwater.

Then, torrential rain poured down, washing away the golden bloodstains on the battlefield. The blood, containing divine power, hissed in the rainwater, eventually turning into an ordinary rust color and seeping into the scorched earth.

In the rain, Kratos looked up at the sky. The dark clouds were still thick, but there was no longer any rolling thunder. He reached out to catch the rainwater. The bloodstains on his palm were completely washed away, revealing the ancient red tattoo on his skin—the most primitive warrior mark of a Spartan.

Kratos slumped to the ground, panting, his wounds slowly recovering.

"So tired."
