Chapter 92 - After the Battle of Titan

Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel, traversed the stars at speeds exceeding light. When she finally arrived near Titan, the sight before her caused her to abruptly slow down, her pupils constricting.

"This... impossible..."

Her heart was profoundly shaken.

Thousands of light-years of starry sky, which should have been densely packed with stars, now only held a pitch-black Land of Nihility. Planets, Suns, Nebulas... everything had been erased, as if forcefully 'wiped away' from the Universe by some supreme power. What chilled her even more was that this Land of Nihility was not a smooth darkness, but filled with countless glass-like cracks, like a shattered mirror, yet strangely suspended in the vacuum.

"Space... shattered?"

Carol had never seen such a sight. Even the Kree Empire's superweapons, or the Skrulls' dimensional technology, had never caused destruction of this magnitude. She subconsciously clenched her fists, her inner energy instinctively surging as she vigilantly scanned her surroundings.

"Has the battle escalated to this extent?"

She gritted her teeth and accelerated towards Titan.

As the distance shortened, the spatial cracks became clearer. They were not static but slowly wriggled, each subtle tremor accompanied by an eerie 'crackle,' as if the Universe itself was groaning in pain.

"What kind of power caused this..."

Finally, Titan appeared in her sight.

However, this once-prosperous Planet was now nothing but ruins. The surface was fragmented, and magma erupted from the cracks, yet it was strangely solidified in mid-air under the suppression of some power, forming crimson 'waterfalls.' The air was filled with the scent of scorching and Death, but what shocked Carol even more was—

Bodies everywhere.

Thanos's Legion, the Black Order, Outriders, and the Chitauri army, who had once struck fear throughout the Milky Way Galaxy, were now crushed like ants. The dismembered limbs of ordinary soldiers, the broken bodies of genetic beasts, and the fragments of various spacecraft and warships covered the entire battlefield.

When Carol's eyes locked onto the scene on the high platform, her nerves instantly tensed. Energy flickered around her, but she hesitated to act—the sight of the white-haired youth casually sipping a drink formed an absurd contrast with the hellish battlefield around him.

"He won?"

"Seventeen capital ships! And three Sanctuary-class Star Destroyers!" Kiana waved her holographic projection screen, which was still looping the image of a laser sword cleaving through a Chitauri mothership. She suddenly turned to look at the bald Caped Crusader: "Saitama Sensei, did you see that? My new ultimate move is called Holy Cross Lightwheel Slash!"

Saitama was counting the shell casings on the ground with dead fish eyes: "Ah... so impressive..." He was already wearing the Nova Corps uniform.

Bayonetta suddenly chuckled, her high-heeled shoe hooking Chen Tian's chin: "Darling, this girl is giving me a headache." The witch's red lips were particularly enchanting amidst the smoke, and her black catsuit made a dangerous rustling sound as she adjusted her posture.

Chen Tian casually flicked the soda can away, and the metal can was swallowed by the void before it hit the ground. He met Carol's wary gaze and suddenly showed a chilling smile: "Would you like a drink, Captain Marvel?"

Carol took a deep breath, energy flowing around her, and slowly descended three meters in front of Chen Tian. She hovered in mid-air, looking down at the lazy man, her golden medium-length hair gently swaying with the energy fluctuations.

"You won?" Her voice was stiff.

Chen Tian lazily spread his hands, motioning for her to see for herself.

Carol didn't even glance, just sneered: "I heard you had a challenge with Thanos, and I intended to come and help you," she snorted, "I didn't expect you to win."

"Well, thank you very much then." Chen Tian didn't care, tilting his head back to finish the last sip of his drink. The can twisted and deformed in his hand before he casually tossed it in front of Carol.

Carol frowned, extremely annoyed by Chen Tian's rude behavior.

"You..."

Chen Tian didn't wait for her to speak, waving his hand and saying, "What did Fury tell you?"

A sharp glint flashed in Carol's eyes. She landed steadily in front of Chen Tian, her toes barely touching the ground, creating a faint ripple of energy.

"Everything." She lifted her chin, her fingertip almost poking Chen Tian's nose. "Especially about your—" She deliberately paused, "—overly active brain."

"You'd better not scheme on U.S., or I'll lock you in the darkest prison in the Universe."

Bayonetta suddenly poked her head out from behind Chen Tian, her red lips curving into a dangerous arc: "Darling, do you need me to handle this rude guest for you?" Her long fingers were already resting on the gun handle.

Saitama suddenly looked up: "Eh? A fight? Count me in!"

After hearing Carol's threat, Chen Tian merely raised an eyebrow lazily, nodding indifferently: "Yes, yes, I know." He didn't even bother to lift his eyelids, as if Carol's warning was just an insignificant breeze.

With that, he casually brushed off the dust from his clothes and stood up, calling out to the three beside him: "Let's go, it's time for us to leave this place." His tone was as relaxed as if he had just returned from a picnic.

Bayonetta elegantly retracted her gun, her high heels making crisp sounds on the ruins: "Finally, we can leave this dirty place." She looked disdainfully at the surrounding debris.

Saitama scratched his bald head: "Ah... finally going back..." He looked down at his dust-covered Nova Corps uniform, a troubled expression on his face, "I really don't like this outfit."

Kiana skipped along after Chen Tian, her white braids playfully bouncing behind her: "Commander, Commander, where are we going next?" Her voice was full of anticipation, showing no sign of having just experienced a major battle.

Chen Tian walked towards the Nova Corps fighter without looking back, casually waving his hand: "Back to Xandar, I guess?" He yawned, "It's time for a good shower and some rest."

Carol's golden energy surged violently around her fists, and she finally exploded in exasperation: "Stop right there!" Her voice, infused with photon energy, erupted into an Impact wave across the ruins.

However, the four ahead paid no attention. Kiana was tiptoeing, trying to jump onto Chen Tian's back, hoping he would carry her; Bayonetta was elegantly adjusting her long hair, her high heels stepping over the broken helmets of Thanos's personal guard; Saitama was still grumbling about his uniform being too tight.

"You—!" Golden light flared in Carol's eyes, and she swung her right fist, a beam of energy powerful enough to pierce a warship tore through the air, heading straight for Chen Tian's back.

Just as the energy was about to hit, Saitama's figure suddenly blurred.

"Ah, I'm familiar with this." The bald Caped Crusader had already appeared behind Chen Tian at some point, casually throwing a punch. What seemed like a light motion caused the energy Impact, powerful enough to destroy several streets, to directly curve away and fly into the distance.

Chen Tian didn't even look back, just raised his hand to rub Kiana's head: "Don't mess around, play when we get on the ship."

Carol froze in place. She watched her attack be so easily deflected, while Saitama was already yawning and turning away, muttering: "I wonder if the Nova Corps cafeteria has takoyaki..."

Saitama and the others walked into the fighter, while Chen Tian stood at the hatch and looked back at Carol: "Carol Danvers, when facing me, please put away your arrogant attitude, and tell Fury that as long as he doesn't cause trouble, I won't bother him. Also, keep an eye on your shapeshifting Skrulls; don't let them cause trouble on U.S., otherwise..."

Chen Tian sneered and punched into the distance, causing space to vibrate. The already ruined city of Titan was completely vibrated into powder.

Carol stood frozen, her pupils constricting violently. She watched as the distant ruins, which had barely maintained their architectural outlines, collapsed and shattered like sand sculptures under Chen Tian's punch, finally turning into a sky full of dust. The once-towering relics of Titan's civilization, the shattered War Machines of Thanos's Legion, all now became fine powder floating in the air, shimmering with an eerie glow under the light of the Sun.

When she suddenly turned to look in the direction of the fighter, she only saw the tail flame of the Nova Corps fighter tracing a dazzling trajectory in space. The hatch had already closed, and Chen Tian's figure disappeared behind the alloy armor. The Impact wave generated by the accelerating fighter stirred up the dust on the ground, forming a grayish-white wall of fog that blurred Carol's vision.

"Damn it, this guy is completely different from what Fury said! He must have hidden his power on U.S. before!"

News of Thanos's Legion's demise swept through every corner of the Milky Way Galaxy like a cosmic storm. In the Kree Empire's Supreme Intelligence core, data streams suddenly fell into chaos; at the Nova Corps headquarters, the Centurion and officers collectively rose to cheer, for he was their special advisor! In the bars of Xandar, glasses slipped from countless shocked hands.

In the golden temple of Sovereign, High Priestess Ayesha gazed at the holographic projections of Chen Tian and Saitama, and a look of desire appeared on her flawless golden face. "At all costs," she commanded the kneeling priests, "obtain their genetic samples. Even if we have to offer our finest people..." Her voice trembled with longing.

In the Land of Nihility, The Collector Tivan trembled as he caressed a crystal ball: "The treasures I've collected for a million years... are not even a fraction as exciting as this battle..." A morbid fervor gleamed in his eyes.

Legends about this mysterious team mutated at an astonishing speed: some said Saitama had once punched Ego, the living Planet, on Ego, causing the self-proclaimed God, Ego, to wail and disintegrate in the vacuum of the Universe. Witnesses claimed that the aftershocks of that punch shifted the orbits of Planets in three nearby star systems.

Bayonetta's witch legend was the bloodiest. This woman in a catsuit once faced a million-strong army alone. She danced on mountains of corpses in ten-centimeter high heels, each gunshot accompanied by the head of a Commander exploding, and her demonic beasts were the embodiment of cruelty; every ugly Outrider, or massive Leviathan, was merely their food.

And the girl Kiana with the white braids... This was a cute and lively girl, in whose golden eyes, the oppressive power of six black holes made everyone realize that a Celestial Exterminator had almost died by her hand.

But all legends paled in comparison to Chen Tian. In his Demon God form, Chen Tian delivered a single punch to the desperately fighting Exterminator, and with that simple action, the Exterminator's massive body instantly disintegrated. The aftershocks pulverized all celestial bodies within thousands of light-years of the outer Titan system. The stellar debris floating in space still speaks of that strike beyond the laws of physics.

"They call this a 'challenge'?" Yondu guzzled strong liquor on the Milano, "This is a bloody Carnage!"

In the Universe's black market, the bounty on Chen Tian's team broke new records every day, but no mercenary dared to take the job. A saying circulated among the Raiders' communication channels: "Run if you see white braids, kneel if you see a bald head, play dead if you hear high heels—if you see the white-haired man... pray he's in a good mood today."

In the gladiatorial arena on Sakaar, the Grandmaster excitedly smashed priceless collectibles: "I want them! No matter the cost!" His brother, The Collector, merely smiled bitterly: "Brother, I'm afraid... we can't afford that price."

Meanwhile, in a high-end residence on Xandar.

Chen Tian was soaking in a bathtub, yawning. Bayonetta, clad in sexy lingerie, was in the same tub with him, massaging his temples with her delicate hands. Saitama was sound asleep on the living room sofa, and Kiana stood with her hands on her hips, cheeks puffed out, glaring at the bathroom door—these monsters, who had created new legends in the Universe, were now as harmonious as any ordinary family.

And on the distant ruins of Titan, the floating stardust suddenly began to spin eerily, gradually forming a giant vortex. At the center of the vortex, a super-powerful entity was observing everything through the shattered spatial cracks...
