The rain was raining heavily today, thunder shaking the windows, and a strong storm. The city road was clear, with no traffic. A big car was speeding.
Inside, Alica was in labor. She was crying in pain.
"I can't hold… any longer… please… hurry up!"
Beside her, her husband Yoran in a black suit was sitting. He was holding her hand tightly and was sweating even more than Alica.
"We are almost there!" Yoran said, squeezing her hand. "Just a little longer, Alica."
The car reached the hospital. The staff of the hospital were already waiting for them with a stretcher. A nurse shouted and waved her hand.
"Your Majesty! Here!"
The driver opened the car door. Yoran carried her in his arms carefully and ran towards the stretcher. He gently laid her down, and without wasting a second, they rushed her inside the hospital. They didn't let go of each other's hand until they reached the operation room.
"Everything will be fine. I will be waiting here."
He smiled with a worried look on his face and let go of her hand.
"Everything will be fine, Alica! I'm here… okay?"
The operation room door shut.
Outside the hospital, cars arrived one by one. It didn't take long to completely fill the area around the hospital.
Yoran was sitting on a bench outside the operation room. His head was down, and he closed his eyes.
"God! Please give Alica strength."
One by one, people started to come. By their appearance, it was clear that they were from rich families. Women in silk gowns and men in sharp suits crowded the hallway. A man among them rushed ahead, pushing people aside.
"Brother! Why didn't you call me sooner?"
Yoran looked up. After seeing his brother, there was a hint of relief in his eyes.
"Yon! I am sorry. Alica was suddenly in pain, so we rushed to the hospital. I didn't think about anything at that moment."
Yoran looked at the people behind his brother Yon.
"I see everyone in the family is here. You didn't have to come. There is no space to even sit here."
One woman, his cousin, came forward. Her expression was worried.
"Brother! Is she good?"
Yoran replied to her:
"She's fine. Don't worry."
He smiled at her, but it was clear that it was a fake smile. He looked at the operation room with a worried look. The red light was still on. Inside, Alica was screaming in pain. Nurses and doctors were nervous and scared. A nurse held Alica's hand, giving her courage.
"Please bear it, Miss Alica!"
Alica bit her lips and started to calm down while the doctors did their job.
It had been half an hour since Alica was in the operation room. Outside, everyone hoped for good news. The red light turned off, and the green light came on. Seeing this, everyone smiled, looking at each other's faces. Yoran finally breathed a sigh of relief. As the door opened, a baby's cry filled the hallway. Everyone's face brightened. Yoran ran toward the operation room.
Alica was holding the baby with a bright smile. Seeing her husband, she spoke in weak tone:
"You don't have to run."
He hugged her tightly and kissed Alica's forehead and the baby's.
"Thank God! You're fine, Alica. I didn't know what I would have done if one of you were hurt."
Alica patted his head and gave the baby to him.
"Here, hold your son."
He carefully held him in his hands. The baby finally stopped crying, slowly closed his eyes, and went to sleep. He came out of the operation room with his baby, and after seeing the baby, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Yon stepped forward to his brother.
"Thank God! They're fine… wow, look how cute he is."
A young cousin come forward, seeing baby he smiles.
"Wow…. Uncle's baby is so cute."
One by one, everyone came ahead to see the baby, their faces bright. The baby seemed to glow in the light.
After everything calmed down, Yoran's family members left one by one.
He returned to the operation room to Alica, who was sleeping. He laid the baby beside her and sat on the chair next to the bed. Slowly, he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
The sun was up now, the sky had cleared, and the cold wind touched Alica. Slowly, she started to awaken. Beside her, Arion was sleeping — the name they decided to give him. She smiled at him and carefully patted his head.
Yoran returned early from some work. Behind him, a servant carried breakfast for Alica. After enjoying breakfast, Arion woke up. His ocean-blue eyes looked at his mother and father. He reached toward them with his tiny hands, giggling.
"Gugu…guu"
Hearing his voice, both of them covered their faces while blushing and said at the same time:
"Cute!"
The operation room door opened again. A doctor stepped in with a report in his hands, sweating as he walked.
"Y… Your Majesty… h… here is the report about the young master… second gender" he paused before speaking again "…..omega."
Alica and Yoran looked at each other with serious expressions, immediately turning them into bright smiles. Alica held his hands.
"I…I can't believe it… this is what we wanted… an omega child, the first ever in the entire family."
Yoran nodded in agreement.
"This is a miracle."
They both looked at Arion, who was giggling.
The doctor spoke again:
"Indeed, Your Majesty, this is a miracle. In your entire family history, there has never been an omega child born."
Yoran looked at Arion, who was holding Yoran's fingers with his tiny hands.
"I know. No matter what anyone says about our child, he will still be ours. We will stand with him…. Please don't let this out right now. I will inform everyone myself."
The doctor bowed his head before leaving.
"Understood, Your Majesty."
Alica placed her hand on his shoulder, showing that they would stand together with their son.
Yet no one in that room realized… This tiny Omega would soon alter the destiny of the world's most powerful family.
