In the bustling city of Raccoon City, traffic flowed endlessly and people moved freely across the streets, making the place feel peaceful and serene.
But hidden away in one messy back alley, something strange lay on the ground—an oozing clump of thick, black liquid.
The black mass squirmed like it was alive, writhing and twitching, letting out a low, guttural growl as if it was searching for something.
At the far end of the alley, a little blonde girl, drawn by the sound, curiously wandered closer step by step.
Her big eyes blinked as she spotted the strange black liquid, and curiosity pushed her to approach.
But before she could get too close, a black tendril shot out from the ooze and wrapped tightly around her ankle.
"Ah!"
The girl shrieked in fear, trying to pull away, but the liquid surged up her legs in an instant, climbing her body, wrapping around her tightly.
Her clothes dissolved into nothing as the substance devoured them, fusing itself directly onto her small frame, clinging to her like a second skin.
"No… stop… I don't want this…!"
She clawed desperately at the slime coating her body, but it was useless. The more she struggled, the more it engulfed her.
"Help—!"
Her cry for help was cut off as the black ooze covered her face, drowning out the last trace of light. The mass twisted and reshaped itself, hardening into the form of a dark suit.
"Lucky for me this girl's willpower is weak. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been so easy to take full control of the body."
Now fully merged with her, the black liquid moved her arms and legs, examining its new form with something like nostalgia.
"I'm back! Hahahaha!"
Jack. Dead at eighteen. Cause of death: scared to death while watching a horror movie.
He thought that was the end of him, but when he opened his eyes again… he was this black ooze.
That's right. The black substance now bonded with the little girl was none other than Jack.
After merging perfectly with the alien liquid, Jack inherited some of its memories.
The truth came to him—this wasn't just any strange substance. This was Venom, the infamous symbiote from the Marvel universe.
Once upon a time, Venom had tried to bond with the cosmic entity Annihilation to steal its power. But he failed. Annihilation swatted him aside and hurled him into a tear in space-time.
Drifting endlessly through the rift, the symbiote grew weaker and weaker without a host, on the brink of death.
Just then, a crack opened in the space-time tunnel. Venom used the last of his strength to escape.
At the same moment, Jack had just died. His soul hadn't drifted far before colliding with the dying symbiote—and the two merged.
From that moment on, Jack was Venom, and Venom was Jack.
At the same time, something else stirred awake. A system activated, pulling Jack into another world.

(Basically, his soul and his body were now one and the same. No separation.)

Spider Sense:He could feel the world around him—sense danger lurking nearby, even before it struck.
Extraordinary Durability:His body was far tougher than most, able to withstand insane levels of punishment.
Incredible Speed:Running full-force on two legs, he could match a helicopter in flight. Using all four limbs, he doubled that—breaking into supersonic speeds.
Super Strength, Magic Resistance, Soul Resistance, Language Aptitude, Vast Knowledge...
I won't go into detail on the rest, otherwise you'll accuse me of dragging this out.
If you're curious about Venom's full skillset, look it up yourself. Just know some powers only activate when he has a proper host.
