Evren stared at his ringing phone, his brows pulling together when he saw his sister's name flash across the screen. He'd only come to his room to grab a few injections in case of injuries from whatever monsters they were about to face, not to spend the only quiet five hours he had left talking to his sister.
He'd been doing his best to avoid her lately. It had been surprisingly easy, considering she was always busy with… whatever chaotic thing she was always tangled in.
Still, he answered.
Her hologram flickered to life above the phone. A perfect projection of Soren wearing a deep frown.
"It's been a while, baby brother."
Evren blinked at her. "Did I do something again?"
