"Come on, let's find a private place to talk," Willow said, releasing his wrist as they made their way toward the large fridge where the drinks were kept.
She pulled out an energy drink and handed it to Ezrik, who accepted it with a quiet nod. He cracked it open and took a sip, while Willow opened hers and took a large gulp, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand as she let out a heavy sigh.
Ezrik chuckled, eyeing her. "Are you bothered about something, too?"
Willow shrugged, her eyes flicking to the floor briefly before meeting his gaze again. "No. Not really. Sage has just been trying to piss me off all day. After Professor Ismere scolded me for being absent for days, Sage told her I wasn't even on campus, and I had to lie and say I was at the infirmary. Honestly, I don't think she bought it."
Ezrik raised an eyebrow and gave her a half-smile. "She should sleep more, then."
